Dominick. Dominick spoke and...it was just counting, but it was calling to her and somehow it got her back on track. She laughed breathily and shook her head. Blasting a demon with light, she called out, "Sixty-seven! And how the hell did you get ahead of me?!"
She sliced through a demon and then another. Had to hurry. She had to catch up to him. Because no way she was buying the drinks after this. She swung and sliced and slashed. She took cuts and bruises and blood all over her. She didn't care, didn't notice. She was on a rampage and nothing was going to stop her. Not even ten seconds after she had declared sixty-seven, she amended it, "Eighty! Eat that, Dommie!"
But if she had stopped to think, she would have thought about how she was tired of this. Once the adrenaline wore off, she would cry about the blood on her skin and in her hair. When she was still fighting too long from now, she would just want it to be over. One way or the other.

Warm. But cool. It wiped away his sweat, the thick dark blood that had spattered all over his clothing, and the tears. An extacy-like high washed over him and gave him the scent of something fresh and savory, bathing him rose-petal sweet. Mmm. Good. Despite his relaxation, Jadon didn't find it in him to be happy about being here. Sitting him, he cast his eyes over Omni, and he wondered if he was hearing Her words, or listening to them. He could see Her lips move, sure, but it couldn't be that he had put a face to God's name. Was this really how she looked? In such clarity, and flawless?
What about Earth?
Ready. Ready to go back. Right. Yes. Ready. No. Wait. Heaven.
Jadon cast a glance over his shoulder, eyeing the groups of angels that had opted to stay up here instead of fight with them. Whether it was to use their celestial powers to reign down on Earth and humankind, or because they were cowards, he didn't think much of it. He only had sights for his mother. She was here. He'd finally be able to see her. He was inside the gates.
But...Kinah. And Dom. If he left now, he'd never be able to come back. He didn't want to. He didn't belong here.
Meeting eyes with Omni, he nodded.

Omni took to her feet, looking around at the groups of angels who prompted to stay in Heaven. "Hayyel, how are the creatures standing?" She asked, looking over at her. "Some are doing well, others are beginning to die off. We need to do something about that, before a species becomes extinct." Omni gave a nod. "Go.. grab two of each kind and place them somewhere safe where they may mate and produce more." She gave orders left and right until she saw Jadon give her a nod.
"Are you sure?" She asked gently. "If you are.. take my hand." She held it out to him. "Jadon.. no one would put blame on you.. for wanting to see your mother." She was God after all, she knew what he wanted, and what he wished for most.
But Freewill stood in everyone's way. Everyone had to make choices, and here was his. To stay, or to go...

He needed to see his mother. Shekinah and Dominick needed him on Earth. If he left, there was no returning, not for him. Heaven wasn't where he belonged. If he took her hand, he'd spend the rest of eternity struggling to remember the words to the opera his mother used to sing. If he stayed here, angels would be enslaved for eternity. Which evil did he want to endure? He didn't want to subject others to torture, but he didn't know if he could go for the rest of existence not knowing...
But maybe "existence" would end today. No one knew. Not even Omni.
Jadon hesitated, shaking, passing a look over his shoulder, as if he would see his mother, but he saw nothing; nothing at all. Finally looking back, he snapped his hand into Omni's, wanting it to be done. Over. He just wanted to go back and help the people he loved.

Omni gave a nod, placing a hand on Jadon's shoulder. They when whizzing back down through the skies in light speed; landing in the grassy field with perfection between Kinah and Dominick. Her eyes trailed around as more demons approached.
She could feel that anger rising.. Lucifer was doing this. He was making them come at them nonstop. Determined to make this battle a win. Omni threw her arms out quickly, the ground beneath their feet shaking. "Begone!"
A few hundred of them dissipated, others simply shimmered back to hell. But many still remained. Not as many as before, she was sure of it. She let out a shaky sigh, letting her arms drop to her sides gently. She blinked through the crowd of demons infront of her; dancing as she went into battle. --
Dominick smirked, seeing Jadon had returned. "Back so soon?" He shouted just as the earth began to shake. He quickly gained his balance and stood there as Omni stopped the brigade that was coming in waves.
"Well.. that'll do it." He laughed, going back into fighting what demons were left. "Seventy eight, seventy nine, Eighty."

The ground shook and Shekinah steadied herself, slicing through another demon. Looking up, she saw Omnipotent and Jadon arrive. "Jay!" she cried happily. She knew he was going to come back of course, and Dominick had reminded her. But it was still great to see him again.
She rushed to him, giving him a brief hug. "Don't die on me again, 'kay?" she joked easily, touseling his hair. Omnipotent vanquished a good amount of the demons and Shekinah giggled. "Thanks, Omni!" she said gleefully, brushing her hand over Her shoulders briefly.
Heading back into the thick of things, she slashed and stabbed and killed every demon she laid her eyes on. She was getting good at this. She didn't like that. She didn't want to keep doing this. She was happy to help Earth and rid it of the filth. But she was growing tired of this. And it seemed like it would never end at this time.

"Back so soon?" No one in Heaven would have teased him like this. They would be fulled with mundane, polite little conversations that would go on for eternity. He would've gone insane. Though his heart wrenched at him for not going to see his mother at least once before he fell, he pushed aside feelings and settled for reason. Logic was harder to deal with than catering to his emotions, but it was emotion that led to fatalities. He wasn't going to let Kinah or Dom experience what it was like to die again.
"Couldn't keep away," he joked along with his brother, conjuring his old pair of swords and taking down two demons, slicing their throats with a jerk of his arms in opposite directions. "And you know all too well you can't do this without me," he added in a grunt. Jadon threw his swords vertically, fell to his hands, and spun on them, taking out a demon's feet from underneath it. He leapt to his feet, grabbing his swords that were abducted by gravity, and crushed them into the demon's sternum.
"Eighty!" he called, rejoining the conteders. "For real this time, too!"
"Don't die on me again, 'kay?" He smirked, shaking his head, and with a flick of his wrist took out a demon the size of a domestic cat that was cantering up behind her. "I'll do my best," he promised. "Don't do anything stupid to die, either," he added as a final warning before jumping off in excitement, wanting to scare the shit out of the demons that had killed him because hey, he was here, he was an angel, and he wasn't leaving any time soon.
He thrust his swords into the abdomen of a Satanist. "Suck it!"

"Couldn't keep away," he joked along with his brother, conjuring his old pair of swords and taking down two demons, slicing their throats with a jerk of his arms in opposite directions. "And you know all too well you can't do this without me,"
Dom laughed loudly, slicing through another demon. It was one right after the other--and he had to admit--he lost count. eighty-five? He guessed, swinging his sharpened arm at another demon that approached.
Once it was down and out--he took the time to look around. Not many more remained. This battle was almost done--and won. He took in a deep breath, feeling the adrenaline rushing through his veins--pumping his heart.
His back turned, another demon approached. Oddly enough, he swung at the right time, decapitating the demon. "Eighty-six..?" He called out. "Lost count--I'm sticking with that." He laughed.

"I'll do my best," he promised. "Don't do anything stupid to die, either."
Shekinah merely stuck her tongue out in response. But Jadon had already leapt into action so he probably did notice. Chuckling to herself, she turned tot he fight. Just in time for a demon's clawed hand to close around her throat and slam her back against a tree. Struggling vigorously, she glared as the demon breathed hot air in her face.
Just as its free hand was winding back to strike her across the face, Shekinah worked her arm free and sliced her sword through its arm. Dancing to the side, she launched herself to land behind the demon and slammed him through the spine. He fell and Shekinah mustered up a triumphant grin.
She fell back into the battle, but wasn't taking joy from it anymore. She heard Dominick claim eighty-six just as she reached ninety, but she lost the heart to declare the number. She felt sick inside at this war now. She was done with. Thank Omni there weren't too many left now...
She sighed dejectedly, face screwing up as she killed another creature. Pushing herself, she fought harder, wanting to be finished with this once and for all.
