It was times like this he was reminded he did not like Dominick, not at all. A splitting pain hit his back and he rested his elbows on the ground, head in his hands, grabbing his hair as he teath ground together. Fine. Fix me. Just make it snappy. Then go take care of your friggin wife, bastard. She's got a side of her body that's been hacked into. I don't need you to do anything for me. Ow! Don't touch it like that!
He didn't want to wait around for the healing to be done. But he did. Unwillingly. And now he wanted to get out of this freaking bubble and kill some more motherfucking demons. After it was complete, he sighed, standing up, taking his swords in his hands, holding them at his sides, exchanged a glance between the two. "Y'okay?" he asked Kinah, though he almost regretted it. Was it any of his responsibility?
And she definitely hadn't been the same since she started swearing.
His eyes drifted to gazing outside of the dome, watching the demons try to penetrate it. "If you put it down now," he mulled in a desolate voice, "they'll all attack at once." Could they fend them all off like that? Maybe if their backs faced each other. He didn't know; he wasn't sure of anything.
Jadon's teeth clamped down on his bottom lip. Maybe he'd get to see his mother today.

Damn this boy was stubborn. Despite his injury, he still wished to fight to his last dying breath. Well, Dominick wasn't having it. They were brothers, despite him not residing in heaven. He cared for Jadon, even if Jadon didn't for him. Fucking hell..
Hearing and seeing Kinah fall to the ground, the healing halted a moment. Damnit Dom.. concetrate.. fix Jadon, then Kinah.. He told himself as he watched the spine heal, the gaping hole in his back re-patch itself. "There." He grumbled as Kinah laid back on the grass.
He crawled over to her, placing his hands where her injuries were. "Y'okay?" "You okay? [/b]" Twins moment on that, seeing as they said it at the same time. Dom smiled down at her softly, watching as the dome began to fade. "If you put it down now," he mulled in a desolate voice, "they'll all attack at once."Dom's head flew up to see the Demon's pounding against the dome Kinah had put up. " She can't." He told Jadon gently. " We need to run.. or we fight till we die." He starred down at Kinah. Wondering if this was the last time he'd ever see her face...[/blockquote]

Her concentration on the protective light made all her other powers fade, including the walls on her telepathy. She clearly heard every thought Jadon hate, making her brow furrow. "Don't...say that," she said with effort. She was still his big sister and she would beat him up for those kind of thoughts. Dominick loved him like a brother and she knew Jadon reciprocated the affection. And he was not dying. None of them were.
She shrugged in response to their questions. It was getting really hard to keep the dome up. She had gone pale from the effort, blue eyes losing some of their light. She squeezed those eyes shut, fists clenching in the grass. 'Omni. Michael. Micah. Gabriel... Anyone,' she prayed. 'Please. We need help. We can't do it all on our own. Please, help. I... We can't die. We can't leave with all this still going on.'
Tears leaked from the sides of her eyes. Praying only made her realize how hopeless this was. This was the full power of Hell. They were the full power of Heaven. And they were losing. They were losing.... Fissures snaked over the dome, starbursts of light forming. Shekinah whimpered and tossed her head a little, centering her concentration once again. The cracks patched themselves over and the dome shone brighter a moment, humming with extra energy.
"Fuck," Shekinah rasped out, barely audible. She reached for Dominick's hand, or Jadon's. It didn't matter, she just needed something to anchor herself. Her wings, scorched in some places, bloody in others, twitched spasmodically beneath her now-writhing body. "Please, Omni," she repeated one last time.
Hopeless.

How had he liked fighting before? Perhaps it was because no challenge was like this one. There was never absolute good battling absolute evil. There were no levels this time--one against one. So how could one be more powerful than the other? How could their be a victor in the end?
Sick with the thought of losing, Jadon pressed a hand against the side of the dome, looking up into the dark sky, clouds aflame. So. It seemed Hell was winning. And if there wasn't a turnabout soon... Holy shit.
That's what Lucifer was. Holy Shit.
"I'm not running," he growled over his shoulder, not bothering look at Dominick through his lashes. He didn't want to look at anything. He'd rather go down trying than run and leave humans to deal with armies of demons. That wasn't fair! "Just make sure she's okay," he added under his breath, his tone a little gentler now. The front of his mind was worried about a number of things--her, Dom, existence.
Omnipotent. Yeah, right. She hadn't been there before. Why should She show up now? Still, Shekinah's undying faith in Her reassured him.

Feel my wrath..She watched from the castle.. the horror.. the chaos.. the hopelessness of Earth. It broke her heart that it came to this. Did no one take heart of her warnings? Did she do everything in her ability to let them know of the evil that was being unleashed?
She sighed heavily, looking to Castiel as he watched Dean from another window. "Well?" She asked softly. He simply looked at her and nodded gently. She gave a soft nod back, as she turned back to the window.
'Omni. Michael. Micah. Gabriel... Anyone,' she prayed. 'Please. We need help. We can't do it all on our own. Please, help. I... We can't die. We can't leave with all this still going on.'
Shekinah.. She closed her eyes, seeing the trouble they had gotten into. Her eyes snapped open as she looked to Castiel. "Protect him if need be. I have something to take care of." She told him as she disappeared.
She shot down to earth in a beam of pure white light, landing right between the three of them. Her eyes scanned the premise, not a word escaping her lips as she looked at the three. Slowly, she stepped over Dominick and walked towards the end of the dome.
She stood near Jadon, her head turning to look at him as she stepped outside of the dome. Demons growled at her, some laughing at the fact that now they could really do some damage to Heaven. Killing God.. that had to be a bonus right?
"Leave. Now." She spoke gently to them. The laughter grew louder as one took a step closer. Placing her palm outwards, she obliverated him into nothingness. Her head turned back to the rest as they starred in shock. "Leave now.. or suffer the fate of you're friend."

Thank God. Literally.
Shekinah relaxed a little, the dome shrinking some. She regained herself quickly though, enlarging the protective encasement.
Relief fell over her in waves, just from Omni's presence. She listened as she spoke to the demons, sitting up. They would be okay. They could do this. They would be okay. They would win. They could do this. She felt better, reborn practically. The dome hummed and sang. She sat up straighter and laughed, not sure that her new-found confidence was warranted or not.
Fuck it. Turning to Dominick, she planted a kiss to his lips, humming as she leaned into him. She didn't care. She pulled from the kiss, grinning at him. She rose to her feet and rolled her shoulders.
'Let's do this.'

God?!
His mind was officially warped, and he stared blankly for a while--he couldn't tell if it was out of shock or curiosity as he watched Her take down demons single-handedly (well, She was God)--and he felt his grip on the hilts of the swords becoming sweaty, slipping from his grasp a little.
Kinah was better. Dominick healed him; he was grateful. God was fighting on their side. Things were looking a little brighter. Jadon adjusted the square of his shoulders, tr-- Eww. That needed to stop. Totally not the time.
"Hate," he interjected, "to be the rain on your parade, but can we stop making out and deal with the problem?!"
With a charge, he burst from the dome and went after demons one by one, taking them down in a path he was carving through them, swinging his swords, each swish taking down one or more demon. He was reborn. Determined. He wasn't seeing his mother today--not even though he wanted to.

"Omni?" He stared as she walked out of the dome. Listening as she tried to persuade the demons to simply leave. He knew well enough they wouldn't, despite Omni's orders. His head turned back to Kinah, fullied healed and well. Her kiss was just what he needed, leaning into it, he smiled. They were saved.
"Hate," he interjected, "to be the rain on your parade, but can we stop making out and deal with the problem?!"
He nodded, kissing her cheek softly before climbing to his feet once again. If all four of them could just attack at each angle.. then they'd have won this fight. Turning his bones into weapons on his arms. He smirked as he ran out to the left of the dome. Swinging, and hearing the sound of metal hit metal, and finally metal hitting skin. He laughed, swiping through as many as he could as he carved his own little path.
"What's that now? Thirty?" He laughed, throwing his head back as he decapitated another demon.

Shekinah laughed, darting past Jadon. She ruffled his hair as she went, shaking her head. He was such a brother. Fuck it. If the demons were going to enjoy this battle, then so would she. She would get supreme joy from every single fucker that she took down.
She tore off to the right, dropping the dome, opposite of Dominick. She mowed down demons as she went. Once more, she was a dancer. Every move played like it was choreographed as she darted, ducked, weaved, thrusted, killed. She laughed openly at his declaration as she chopped a demon in half, running through the open space and getting covered in blood for her trouble.
Throwing some sticky strands of hair out of her face, she grinned triumphantly. "Seriously? That all?" She conjured a double-sided sword and swung it over her head before slicing through two huge demons. "I think that brings me up to fifty or something." She ran her arm over her eyes, ridding them of the slimy blood and got back into the thick of it.
Hell yeah. This was fun again. Those fucking demons were going to be running back to Hell once they were done.

In his rampage, he didn't pay attention to what he was slashing at, who or what he was killing, what was going on, who was making what noise, or even where he was; where he was running to. His arms spoke for him, swinging at anything and everything. "Eighty-one, eighty-two!" he joked, jumping over a demon, flipping foward once, jabbing the tip of a sword into a skull of the demon he evaded, and severing the neck of the one in front of him. Fuck yeah!
And as he landed, he knew what it was like to be shot more than once in the same spot. It was like repeating the same bad day over and over again, never being able to escape it. Always traveling back in time to the one bad day that you never want to see again; you rejoice when it's over, and you're happy to crawl under the covers of your bed and see it away.
Today was that day, in his stomach, coming out through the other side of him, sword soaked in blood. His own sword--snatching directly from his hands and plunged into his stomach. Shit.

She watched Jadon as he went into the mass crowd of demons, slaying one after another. Soon enough, Kinah and Dominick joined him in the battle on different sides. Omni stood her ground, her eyes staring straight ahead as ten of them charged at her. With a wave of her hand, heaven's light shined down on them. "Begone!" She shouted, watching as they dissipated.
Her head turned, listening to Dominick and Kinah as they joked. Perhaps the three of them had a bet going on, it was the only conclusion she could draw. A small smile formed as she watched Jadon cut through demons like butter.
Well.. a battle it was. Her arms spread out, she looked at the next crowd of demons, beckoning them forward with two hands. As they charged, she jumped into the air, blasting them away with more light. She tumbled forward in the air, landing in the middle of the large mass of demons. "I warned you." She spoke. Both arms outstretched, she unleashed a massive form of light, spreading out in a fan.
She watched as they withered into nothing. She stood there a moment, watching Jadon, noticing that another demon had gained his sword. "Jadon." She called over the noise, but it was too late...

Shekinah felt damn good.
She felt able and powerful and in control. Like nothing could stop her. Especially not that ugly, fucking demon over there. "Dude," she stated, shifting her weight from one foot to the other, "you fugly." She adding injury to insult then, thrusting her battle-sword straight into its stomach and jolting it up, cleaving him through the chin and skull even. She chuckled as she heard Jadon call out his numbers. "Cheater!" she challenged. "No way you have more than me!" They were like kids playing a video-game or something. She loved it.
Taking out a couple more, she heard Omni get her badass on. "All right," she cheered softly to herself. She glanced to Dominick quickly, saw that he was still going strong. And then she heard her voice call Jadon's name. She didn't know why, but something made her turn to where she had last seen him. She caught sight of him just as a demon shoved Jadon's sword through her brother's middle.
The world dropped out from under her. This wasn't like the ax, before. He wouldn't recover so easily from that. He... He wouldn't recover at all. "JAY!" she screamed. Oh fuck, oh fuck. No, no, no. He couldn't be... He just couldn't. She swung the sword in a butterfly arc, ridding the earth of three more demons. Her breathing sped and she licked her lips. Should she... She couldn't heal, but she could at least be with him.
Mustering what was left of her light, she shot it out at the few demons lumbering toward him. She sprinted to him, skidding to a stop. "Jay," she breathed, tears in her eyes. Her sword went through a bird-like demon. "Just hang on a second, okay. You're gonna be okay." She round-house kicked a demon, severing its head from its body before dropping to face him. Her battered, bloody fingers stroked over his cheek. His eyes were losing clarity. She couldn't lose him. He was her brother. They were only seven... She thrust her sword between her arm and her body behind her, killing an encroaching demon.
"C'mon, Jay," she pleaded in a wavering voice.
If he died, she was going to go kill Lucifer herself. Snap his limps and beat that smug smirk of his face with his own arms.

Breath escaped him, no matter how hard he tried to grasp for it. He didn't remember this from his days in war. Perhaps he had died instantly while he was human. But now...excrutiating. He didn't know what was going through his head, if anything was going through it at all. Jadon toppled over onto his side, arch of his hands holding tight to the sword protruding through his body. His mouth hung agape, choking for air, only little sounds able to come out.
Shekinah appeared. He found his eyes become glossy. At least she was here. "I'll be okay," he mouthed to her, a smile flickering up the corners of his lips, only lasting in a spark, like the countdown of a colorless, silent film. He didn't want to stop fighting. He wanted to help them.
A coldless swarmed around his wound, despite the warmth the blood provided. He wasn't sure if he was in pain or not. Jadon shifted his head to lay on her knee, feeling her fingertips graze over his cheek like raindrops falling from the sky, dancing over his face.

Slash, clink, slash, clink...
Never-ending. His head turned, watching as Omni blasted ten in once. Must be nice to have all that power. A smirk fell upon his lips as he let out a scream, his arms ripping through the demon before him silkily. From skull, to groin. Fucker was dead for sure now. Body torn into two pieces.
"JAY!"
His head shot over to where he had last saw Jadon. He was on the ground, hearing the clink of an axe hitting his bone, he pushed the demon back. With his palm outstretched, he turned it to ice. One swift kick and the demon fell to pieces.
He took off running over to Jadon, skidding down onto his knees as he neared him. He looked over the wound, and just knew.. knew it was too late for a heal. "I'll be okay," He starred at him. "Of course will." He brushed back Jadon's hair.
What worried him most was Kinah, the tears in her eyes as she pleaded. "Shekinah." His voice was stern, yet loving as he said her full name. "He'll be fine.. reborn." He told her softly. "Remember that.. We can't sit here and have Omni do all the work for us." His eyes flashed to Jadon as he took his hand and gave it a squeeze. "Rest.." He said softly. "Just rest.."

"Shekinah." She looked up to him, trying to listen to him. She kept glancing back to Jadon though, chewing her lip as his eyes got farther and farther away. "Right," she replied softly. Reborn. She knew that. But... But it was hard to process that when all she saw was a sword in his chest and his lungs stopping. When he went on; that Omni needed their help. She swallowed and nodded. "Yeah." She sniffled briefly and bent to kiss Jadon's forehead, smoothing back his sweat-soaked hair. "See you on the other side, bro," she told him tenderly.
She rose then, taking in a cleansing breath. Jadon would be fine. That was just his lifeless body. He was fine. He would be in Heaven and once all this was over she would go see him. He would be fine. She passed a tremulous smile to Dominick before launching at a demon, taking it out with a single strike.
She was going to destroy these things. They had hurt her brother and they were going to pay. And if/when they ever came across Lucifer, she was going to shred him into many tiny pieces and then turn those little pieces into something pretty and shiny and good. Like flowers. Or glitter. Something happy that Lucifer would hate. Fuck the balance. They were going to win this.
"Fifty-six," she counted under her breath. "Fifty-seven, fifty-eight..."

Reborn. Right. He wasn't dying. He just wasn't...staying. He didn't want to leave. It was like dying all over again. He wouldn't be able to come back to Earth. Shekinah...
They had a job to do. How could he have been so stupid to let his guard down like that. He'd let them down; all of them. Kinah, Omni, and Dominick. Especially Dominick. He'd been counting on him to help him keep Shekinah safe. And now...fuck, he blew it. Dominick was the hero, and well...Kinah was his heroine. Omni? He didn't want to see the shame he assumed would be on Her face.
"No," he cried out, his voice barely audible, lungs failing. Craning his neck in the direction she dashed off, Jadon choked on nothingness, suffocating. He didn't want them to leave him. He wanted someone to be with him. Anyone. Something short of a hurricane flew down his face and he lurched forward into a fetal-like position, wanting to cry out, but having nothing to support it. It hurt so fucking badly... Someone help me!!
Anyone?

She watched silently, slaying demons that got anywhere near them. They were worried about their brother, that much she could see. Her eyes darted about as she clasped her hands before her, opening them up and letting her arms fan over abover her head, she produced a shield that would keep the demons out.. for now. As Dominick and Shekinah went back to fighting, she walked to Jadon. Kneeling beside him, she took his hand, smiling softly down at him. Words escaped her, so instead, she began singing to him softly as her wings sprouted behind her back. " You and me have seen everything to see, From Bangkok to Calgary, and the soles of your shoes are all worn down. The time for sleep is now, tt's nothing to cry about.. 'cause we'll hold each other soon.." She caressed his cheek as she slowly lifted them to heaven. " If Heaven and Hell decide, that they both are satisfied. Illuminate the NOs on their vacancy signs.. If there's no one beside you, when your soul embarks.." She paused, starring at him as they entered the gates. "Then I'll follow you into the dark.."

She kept counting and breathing. That's all she focused on. She wasn't thinking about how much she wanted to run back to Jadon and sit with him until the time come. She wasn't thinking about how much she wanted to run back to Dominick and just hid inside his embrace for the rest of this. She wasn't thinking... about being ten and hiding in her father's arms because of a thunderstorm.
She was thinking about killing demons. About how many she had killed so far (sixty-four). About how she just needed to breath and move. About...how she really wanted a shower because there was demon blood all over her. About how after this, rules and heaven and falling be damned, she was going to sleep with Dominick. About how this was going to be over, soon enough. And the world wouldn't be over.
She heard Omni singing softly and fixed her eyes and face forward, fighting more demons. She couldn't look. She knew OMni was bringing Jadon up. And she knew he was just going to Heaven and she would see him soon. But she couldn't see her bring him up. It would be too real. She didn't want to see that. She couldn't.
Clink, squish, thunk.
Sixty-five.

He was sure it was Her, but part of him doubted his good fortune. What would have happened if She didn't take him up? Would he rot in a void? in nothingness? Jadon convulsed, shaking in Omni's arms as he still felt his breath becoming shorter. But the pain eased. He tried to stop the tears from springing to his eyes, like the song said. It's nothing to cry about.
But it was. The world was ending, and he failed to help stop it...
He couldn't cry about it. He couldn't be a pussy. Even as his mental fortitude held out, Jadon found himself sinking into Omnipotent's arms, closing his eyes for what seemed like hours. When he reopened them, the sword had vanished, and he could breathe again.
Shekinah...

She wiped his tears away as she walked through the gates. Angels made their way to him, taking out the sword and healing his wound as Omni laid him down on a soft cloud. She starred down at him.. waiting for his eyes to open.. and finally, they did.
"Welcome back, Jadon." She smiled, putting a hand to his cheek. She tilted her head slightly, holding a hand out to help him up. "Shall we return to your brother and sister?" She asked lightly. ---
Dominick heard the song, and hummed softly, singing along. But it soon faded, his head inclined to the sky, she was gone. Having taken Jadon home.. Home.. A home he could no longer visit. He shook his head, putting his concentration back into fighting.
Clink, slash, clink.
"Six-eight, sixty-nine, seventy.." He muttered under his breath. He smiled softly, picking his voice up to yell at Kinah. "SEVENTY!" He shouted with laughter following suit. His mind was on Jadon, but his hands seemed to move on their own. Slashing through demons like there was no tomorrow...
And maybe.. there wouldn't be...
