Follow these powers to the dime! If you have a power you'd like to use, but it's not on the list, contact me or Kara or Vamp before putting it into your bio! It's just the fact that we have this list to make sure people aren't taking powers we deem too powerful. Please do not have powers that contradict themselves. {Ie: Pryokenisis and Hydrokenisis, Deflection and Retribution} Thank you.
Students- May have 4-6 powers. If you decide to have less, that's find. If, you would like to have a power dormant until something tragic happens to your character. That's fine as well, just let us know inside your biography.
Teachers- May have 5-7 powers. Again, if you decide to have less, that's fine. If you want a few to be dormant, please let us know in your biography.
Professors- May have 5-7 powers at the max. If you want a few to be dormant, please let us know in your biography. Professors are not needed at the moment.
Anti-Mutants- May have 5-7. But one of those must be dormant until a near death experience. Please read the rules to learn more.
X-Mutants- Are allowed 5-7 powers max. These are only mutant powers, and not that of a anti. If you see a X-mutant with an anti power, it's due to a special circumstance.
Hand of Phoenix- Are allowed 6-8 powers max. These are mutant powers, and that of a anti.
Others- Are allowed 5-7 powers max. These are only mutant powers, and not that of a anti. If you see a X-mutant with an anti power, it's due to a special circumstance.
ELEMENTAL POWERS
Elemental Generation - this is when you Channel the Elements.
Elemental Manipulation - is when you Project the Elements (only two elements per character, especially if this is considered the 'passive power')
ENERGY POWERS
Electricity Generation - The ability to produce and channel bolts of electricity.
Energy Balls - The ability to produce a glowing ball of pure energy capable of slaying almost any being. - ANTI's ONLY
Energy Manipulation - The ability to control and generate energy fields.
Entropy Projection - Ability to cause potential energy to become kinetic energy.
Incineration - The ability to kill someone by setting them on fire with one touch or look. This is an upper level Anti power.
Neutralizing- The ability to strip powers from mutants. Anti-mutant only!
Radiation Control - Ability to control, generate, or absorb a certain form of radiation.
KINETIC ABILITIES
Aerokinesis - Ability to control or generate air and wind.
Atmokinesis - Ability to control and mentally affect the weather.
Biokinesis - Ability to control biology. Biokinetics can heal, alter their body composition and other things relating to the living body.
Chlorokinesis - Ability to control plant life.
Cryokinesis - Ability to reduce the kinetic energy of atoms and thus reduce temperature, often used to control, generate, or absorb ice.
Electrokinesis - is the ability to project electricity or lightning.
Geokinesis - Ability to control the classic element of earth; sand, stone, rock, lava, and/or dirt. IE; is an elemental power where the user can control and/or manipulate earth, such as creating earthquakes.
Gravitakinesis (a.k.a., Gyrokinesis) - Ability to manipulate and/or generate gravitons and gravitational interactions.
Hydrokinesis -Ability to control, generate, and/or absorb water.
Ice Stasis - is an extreme form of Cryokinesis and Temporal Stasis, controlled by the mind alone, it immediately crystallizes an object or being, encapsulating them in ice
Insight - This ability allows one to glance at an object, person, or place's past as if they were truly reliving it in that very moment. The memory flashes by in seconds, no matter how long it is, think of it as a download into one's head rather then a computer. ((Note: You need the player's permission to speak about a past even that is NOT on the forum. IE, you can talk about how the character was at the club last night with a woman if it was in an RP, but you cannot say anything that is written in the character's application under history, that requires permission.))
Magnetokinesis - Ability to control and/or generate magnetic fields.
Molecukinesis - Ability to mentally manipulate molecules and objects on a molecular level.
Photokinesis - Ability to control, generate, or absorb photons, (particles of light).
Psychokinesis (a.k.a., Telekinesis) - Ability to manipulate and control objects with the mind. An extremely powerful psychokinetic might be able to control individual atoms.
Pyrokinesis - Ability to control the kinetic energy of atoms to generate, contol and/or absorb fire.
Solarkinesis - The ability to produce solar energy or heat. The power can manipulate living obejcts who take in the sun's energy to grow or fill with life. when skilled in the power they can create the heat of the sun to heat/burn.
Sonokinesis - Ability to mentally manipulate sound waves.
MENTAL/PSIONIC
Animation - Power to bring inanimate objects to life or to free a person from petrifaction.
Astral Projection - Ability to separate and control one's astral body. Sometimes a form of telepathy or magic.
Astral Trapping - Ability to cause an astral projection to stay on the astral plane, usually in one specific place.
Clairvoyance - Ability to perceive events that are taking place elsewhere or sense places that are not in view. Clairaudience is the auditory equivalent of this.
Danger Sense - Ability to sense personal danger. A limited form of clairvoyance.
Dream Manipulation - is the ability to manipulate the dreams of others.
Empathy - Ability to read, sense, and/or control the emotions and/or feelings of others.
Enhanced Senses - Enhancements of sight, smell, taste, touch, and/or hearing.
Illusion - Ability to alter or deceive the perceptions of another. Usually visual, may be caused by mental powers or holograms and other light-based illusions.
Mediumship - Ability to see, and or hear spirits and/or ghosts
Microscopic Vision - Ability to magnify vision to various levels.
Night Vision - Ability to see clearly in darkness.
Omnilingualism - Ability to decipher any language.
Photographic Memory - Ability to recall the past with great accuracy and in seemingly unlimited volume.
Precognition - Ability to percieve the future. Sometimes it is only expressed in vague reams while asleep, other times it is clear and occurs at will and when awake.
Psionic Shield - A shield that protects the user from anything being magic, fire, or even a sword. The shield can be brought up as a force field around the target or as an actual shield of some sort for more direct protection.
Psychometry - Ability to relate details about the past and/or future condition of an object, person or location, usually by being in close contact with it. Shown through premonitions.
Retribution - The ability to reflect your pain, to your attacker. {ie: If someone stabbed you, they'd feel the pain as well. ex: Someone twisting your arm will feel it in theirs}
Super Intelligence - Intelligence far above genius level.
Technopathy - Ability to control technology with the mind.
Telepathy - Ability to read the thoughts of, and to mentally communicate with others.
Umbrakinesis - The ability to mentally repulse photons to create shadows or darkness, or to psychokinetically move objects via shadow
PHYSICAL
Absorption - Ability to absorb various forms of energy, and re-emit them either as a similar effect or with their own power.
Accelerated Healing - Ability to heal rapidly from any injury; the rate of recovery varies from character to character.
Acid Generation - The ability to create acid through the palms of hands or mouth. - X's ONLY
Conjuring - the ability to think of something and make it appear in your possession.
Echolocation - Ability to determine location of items in the environment by use of reflected sound waves, whether generated by the character or ambient sound.
Merge - Ability to temporarily merge two beings into a single being, which results in a completely new and stronger being.
Molecular Combustion - The power to speed up ("heat") molecules in an object until they lose molecular cohesion, effectively causing the object to disintegrate or explode.
Natural Armor - An unnaturally tough and durable outer shell or skin.
Phasing - The ability to pass through solid objects at will {ie: walls.}
Photographic Reflexes - Ability to mimic any athletic or martial arts movement after seeing it once.
Seismic Burst - is the ability to emit a shockwave that is able to repel another person away.
Shape-shifting - Shape-shifting involves physical changes such as alterations of age, gender, race, or general appearance or changes between human form and that of an animal
Superhuman Speed - Ability to react faster than a normal human.
Temporal Stasis (also known as Molecular Inhibition) - The power to slow down ("freeze") molecules in an object until they effectively stop moving.
Thermal Vision - The ability to see body heat and cold with simply your own two eyes.
TRANSPORTATION
Flying – the ability to fly
Levitation - Ability to use the mind or another gravitional replusion/negation method to lift off the ground..
Shimmering - Common form of teleportation - X'S ONLY
Smoking - Common form of teleportation - X'S ONLY
Teleportation - The ability to move from place to place instantaneously.
Time Travel - Ability to travel through time. MUST HAVE ADMIN PERMISSION
Wallcrawling - Ability to stick to and crawl on walls.
MISC
Astral Echo- Allows one to use people's essence to form telepathic links with them.
Bonemancer - With similarities to biokinesis, bonemancers can mend, create and extend bones. However, bonemancers can also create bones outside of the body to make them as a weapon, say a sword or even a spear. With enough practice even, a bonemancer can create skeletons and control them.
Celerity - Ability to react faster than a normal human.
Cloaking - the ability to hide yourself or someone supernaturally from others.
Cloning - the ability to make a duplicate of yourself in the physical plane.
Deflection - the ability to deflect another's powers away from you and back at the attacker.
Ecological Empathy - The ability to sense the overall well-being and conditions of one's immediate environment and natural setting stemming from a psychic sensitivity to nature.
Elasticity - Allows the user to stretch his or her body, like rubber, into any shape or form the user wants.
Empathic Mimicry - is the ability to duplicate the powers of other evolved humans within proximity and reproduce them at will when thinking about the original source of the power.
Fortitude - Ability to react take more damage and last longer than a normal human.
Invisibility – the power to make oneself invisible.
Psionic Blast - Ability to overload another's mind causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness, vegetative state or death after having created a psionic link into that individual's mind
Regeneration - This power is similar to Accelerated Healing, but differentiates for the fact that it regenerates cells rather then just heals wounds. This power allows someone to practically live forever as their cells never die and most often they continue to look like a normal adult rather then age and get wrinkles. [Must have Admin Permission]
Size Shifting - Ability to increase or decrease one's size.
Sublimation - Ability to transform into a gaseous, mist, or fog-like form.
Temporal Duplication - Ability to bring past and future versions of oneself back to the present.
Transmogrification - Changing shape or form, even into that of inanimate objects.
Vigor - Strength beyond a normal human.
X-Ray Vision - The ability to see a person or object without man made intervention. It is the ability to see through anything.
