A hard day at work, had him thinking as he began his walk home. Home, to Kyla. To the life they had started, together. And yet, there was no ring on her finger. He swore to himself that one day, he'd make her an honest woman, and he would marry her. But each day flew by, and he never seemed to have the time, or energy to ask her. He loved her, with all of his body, heart, and soul. But, for them, maybe the traditional way was a little... too traditional. Pushing the door open, he smiled. " I'm home." He called out as he set down his half eaten lunch on the counter, dropping his keys on the table and taking his shoes off. He could see her now, laying on the couch. " Hey baby." He smiled, plopping down next to her. " How was your day?"

Flipping through the channels, she laid on the couch. She was tired, but she missed Tyler and that was the only keeping her awake besides Ellen on the t.v. Laying in her clothes she was curled up trying to focus on what Ellen was talking about, but all she could think about was her life. She felt so intertwined with Tyler. It was a good thing. She loved it, but they were so busy trying to work to keep the bills caught up that they barely had enough time to just lay in each others arms and love one another like they used to everyday. It was much easier being a careless teenager. It was then that Tyler walked in the door. A smile automatically climbing across her face. "I'm home." She curled up a little more making room for him as he walking over to the couch. She watched him her smile growing. "Hey baby." She sat up scooting over to him kissing him softly. "Hey babe." She smiled She layed her hand down on his lap. "How was your day?" She looked up into his eyes and rolled hers. "Horrible." She said sighing. "But much better now that you're home." She ran a hand through her bangs. "Loretta at the boutique yelled at me for placing the yellow sweaters next to the purple skirts." She shook her head. "What the hell does it even matter? People don't even notice what racks are where all they look at is the clothes..." She stopped herself. "But I know you don't want to hear anything about that." She smirked looking up at him. "Whatabout you baby? How was your day?"

"Hey babe."
A smile light up his face as he returned the kiss. "Horrible." He frowned a little at that, his hands running through her now straight hair. It was different, and it took him some time to get use to it, but now, he loved it.
"But much better now that you're home."
He smiled, leaning down and kissing her again. "Good to know." he told her gently. He listened to her then, about her day and how Loretta was a bitch. It was their routine almost. "I'm sorry baby." He said softly, pushing some of her hair back.
"But I know you don't want to hear anything about that." She smirked looking up at him. "Whatabout you baby? How was your day?"
"But I love hearing about your day." He smiled down at her. A sigh following as he closed his eyes. "Tiring. Antonia didn't listen to me, again." Being a foreman to that man was becoming unbearable. "Almost had a crane drop a load of wood on me today." He mentioned. Being a construction worker was hard, and sometimes dangerous work.
"I'm just glad to be home with you." He smiled down at her. "We got anything to eat? I only had a twenty minute lunch break. Barely enough to hog down half a sandwich and a coke."

"Sure you do." She laughed and then listened to how his day went. When he finished she gasped. "Oh my gosh I'm so glad you're okay. I hate you working that just with that stupid man. He's going to get someone killed. And I don't want it to be you." She said her eyes holding her worry and her concern.
"I'm just glad to be home with you."
"And I'm glad to have you home with me baby." She said softly. "After all we do have the whole weekend without work." She practically squealed. "We got anything to eat? I only had a twenty minute lunch break. Barely enough to hog down half a sandwich and a coke." She frowned. "And you never to get to eat at your job...." She paused. "I'm going to start leaving my work on my lunch break to make sure you eat your lunch..." She grinned.
She stood up leaning down to kiss him. "I'm sure I can whip something up real quick." She walked into the kitchen looking in the cabinets. "We have some macaroni...and..." She opened the feezer and eyed the chicken in there she grabbed it. "And some chicken breasts." She said smiling. "I'm thinking we can have that and some red wine to celebrate coming home in one peice." She grinned.
She sat the chicken in the sink to let it thaw as she pulled a pot down from the cubert starting the water to boil for the macaroni. "Baby you want to come pour the wine...I think I need a little taste right now." She giggled.

More than words"Oh my gosh I'm so glad you're okay. I hate you working that just with that stupid man. He's going to get someone killed. And I don't want it to be you."He smiled softly, wrapping his arm around her. " I'm glad I'm home and alive too baby." He grinned, a soft chuckle following right behind. " One of these days he'll get fired. Or, y'know, do something idiotic like always, and then get fired." He smiled, brushing her hair away. " I don't care though, long as I have air in my lungs and lips to kiss you..." He leaned in laying a soft and gentle kiss to her lips. " I'm a happy man." "After all we do have the whole weekend without work."He smiled. " That's right." He grinned. "And you never to get to eat at your job...." She paused. "I'm going to start leaving my work on my lunch break to make sure you eat your lunch..." He laughed a little at that. " Hey, long as the bills get paid." He told her, laying a kiss to her forehead. "I'm sure I can whip something up real quick." He smiled, watching her as she got up. " And this is why I love you so. You take good care of me, feed me, love me." He smirked as she leaned down and gave him a kiss before heading into the kitchen. "We have some macaroni...and..." She opened the feezer and eyed the chicken in there she grabbed it. "And some chicken breasts."" Sounds delicious." He smiled, propping his feet up on the couch and leaning his head back. "I'm thinking we can have that and some red wine to celebrate coming home in one peice." He laughed softly. " Sounds good, baby." "Baby you want to come pour the wine...I think I need a little taste right now."He slowly began to move at her request, taking to his feet and shuffling towards the kitchen. Sometimes, he forgot how tired he would get after a days work at this place. A yawn escaped him as he opened the fridge and popped the top off the bottle and poured them each a glass. " Here you go, sweetheart." He smiled, kissing her temple as she played with the chicken. " Hey," He asked, catching her attention. " Just out of curiosity, do we have anything planned for the weekend?"
