Running up that hill - PlaceboScream![ Warning; this is going to get rather intense. So.. letting you know before hand.] The bruises had healed, but the scars of that night still remained ever present in her mind. It had been a long two weeks, but she made it. She stood there in the bookstore, looking for a book her father use to read to her when she was young.
She skimmed through the children's section, finally seeing it and picking it up with a smile. "Goodnight Moon." She said softly to herself, opening it up and smiling at the memories.
She walked over towards the corner of the room where people could sit and read. Relaxing into one of the big plush chairs, she crossed her legs and opened it up.
She read through it, silently to herself until she reached the last page. "Goodnight nobody, goodnight mush, and goodnight to the old lady whispering "hush". Goodnight stars, goodnight air.." She sighed, wiping away a tear. "Goodnight noises everywhere..."
Her head lifted as the door opened. It was late at night, and the store was closed. But she knew the owner well, and he had left her the keys to lock up. "I'm sorry we're--" Her words fell as his face emrged from the shadows. "Get out."

Destroying YouHe had been waiting in the alley the whole time. She was pretty damn stupid to be out and about, knowing he wanted nothing more than to hurt her. But, he knew that's just the way she was. She was a fighter, but she would never fight against him. Never had, and never would.
As the owner left, he slipped his way out of the alley and towards the door. he stood there, watching her read a moment before jerking the door open. "I'm sorry we're--" Her words fell as his face emrged from the shadows. "Get out."
He didn't waste any time, he jumped right on her, tackling her to the ground. Punch after punch, anger continued to rise and flow through him. And with each devastating blow, he didn't feel any kind of release.

Everything moved slowly, but fast at the same time. She didn't have enough time to move before he tackled her to the floor. She let out a scream, feeling the wood of the floor under her back as his balled fists came at her.
Over and over again... If she could just get her hands in the right position, she could freeze him. But she knew that wasn't going to happen, she placed one hand palm down on the floor, sending vibrations through it as a small earthquake erupted, sending him tumbling off her.
She crawled towards the door, but didn't make it far as he grabbed her foot and pulled back back as she screamed and kicked at him. "No..." She cried, kicking even harder. "GET OFF OF ME!" She cried out.

He growled as the earth shook, making him tumble off her. He went quickly into motion, grabbing her leg and pulling her back to him. "No..." She cried, kicking even harder. "GET OFF OF ME!" She cried out. His teeth gritted, his fist pounding into her leg.
Breathing erratic, he quickly took to his feet. He glared down at her, taking his foot and kicking her over and over again until he had no energy left to do it anymore. Reaching down, he grabbed her arms tightly and pulled her close.
"You're not leaving." He spat. "Not unless it's in a body bag!" He shouted back, slamming her back down to the floor, his foot making contact with her ribs. "HE WAS MY SON!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, bending down and punching her over and over again.

Pain shot through her leg and up towards her pelvic. She cried out softly as the pain became something she couldn't handle anymore. Everything hurt.. everything felt so heavy...
All she wanted to do was close her eyes.. No.. keep them open she told herself as he grabbed her arms. She winced, crying out again. "You're not leaving." He spat. "Not unless it's in a body bag!" She cried out loudly as her body hit the hard wood floor with a sickening thud.
"HE WAS MY SON!"
She needed to fight back.. she needed to get him to stop. Because if she didn't... She lifted her leg, even though it felt like a ton of bricks, and hit him in the chest--sending him flying into a bookshelf.
She coughed harshly, spitting up some blood as she crawled to her hands and knees. Her eyes glared in his direction, hand ready to freeze him if he took one step towards her.
"He... He was my son too." She pointed out, her voice raspy. "Look at yourself." She felt like she would pass out, but pressed onward. "You look like him..." She said softly. "Like your father.."

"He... He was my son too." She pointed out, her voice raspy. "Look at yourself." She felt like she would pass out, but pressed onward. "You look like him..." She said softly. "Like your father.."
His eyes stared back at her as he turned over to his hands and knees. "Don't talk about him." He growled out. He made sure his hands were free to freeze her if she tried anothing more. "So what's it gonna be?" He smirked back at her.
"Who's gonna make that move first?" He paused, taking in a deep breath. "Huh? You gonna freeze me, or will it be the other way around, Evan?" He spat.
Without even a second thought, one hand flew out freezing her in time as he took running towards her, slamming her into the ground and out of his freeze he held on her. Holding her down by her arms, he glared into her eyes. "HE WAS NOT! HE WAS NOT EVAN!" He screamed. "If he was, you would have had him." He said, grabbing ahold of her and giving her a shake.
"Why?" He whispered out, tears in his eyes. "What'd I do to deserve that, huh?" He asked, shaking her again. "TELL ME!"
