"S'all right. I mean, I understand; that's kind of a hard thing to tell someone. And it's not...bad news, exactly, right? So..."
He nodded. "Right, exactly." He smiled. Now there was only one more thing he wanted to tell her, and ask her, of course.
"Y'know, I could say something corny right now. Like, 'You've always been an angel to me, baby.'" She laughed more at that before shrugging. "I guess it doesn't really make a difference to me. I didn't know you were dead-slash-an angel before so it shouldn't make a difference now, right?"
He laughed at that. "Right." He gave another nod, brushing her hair back. "It shouldn't. But it does in a way. Say if you got mad at me and planned to kill me. Might have a bit of difficulty with that." He joked with a grin.
"Uhm." He licked at his lips. "Amarie's not letting me see Molleigh. I want to go talk to her, but I know Saikoro will be around, and that man has a way of pushin' me buttons." He sighed. "Was wonderin' if you'd come with?" He asked, perking a brow.

"It shouldn't. But it does in a way. Say if you got mad at me and planned to kill me. Might have a bit of difficulty with that."
Josslyn snapped her fingers as if in defeat. "Oh damn. I completely overlooked that. I'll have to rethink my plot to kill you." She broke into laughter then. She was not planning on killing or getting rid of Cain in other way anytime soon.
"Amarie's not letting me see Molleigh. I want to go talk to her, but I know Saikoro will be around, and that man has a way of pushin' me buttons."
Whoa. Today was just full of revelations, then. She nodded but sensed he wasn't finished yet. She only murmured an "Okay," prompting him to continue.
"Was wonderin' if you'd come with?" He asked, perking a brow.
Josslyn smiled softly at that, something warm spilling into her chest. The fact that he wanted her around, especially when doing something as important as...well, that. It just felt good. She nodding without hesitation, dropping a quick kiss to his lips. "Of course. As long as you don't think I'll get in the way." Plus, then she would get to meet Molleigh...

"Oh damn. I completely overlooked that. I'll have to rethink my plot to kill you."
"Oh boy, I best be watchin' out then, yeah?" He laughed, rubbing his nose against hers. She was just too cute, perfection. As if Heaven itself sent her just for him. No one else, but him.
"Of course. As long as you don't think I'll get in the way."
"You?" He asked, perking a brow. "Never, and I want you there. I know things might get... intense, and I want someone with me to remind me not to do anythin' stupid." He smiled, kissing her head. "I think that's all I had to tell ya. How about we finish our zoo adventure, hm?" He asked, taking to his feet and holding out a hand for her.

"Oh boy, I best be watchin' out then, yeah?"
"Definitely," Josslyn replied with a giggle. She ran her fingers through his hair before resting her hand at the base of his neck.
"You?" He asked, perking a brow. "Never, and I want you there. I know things might get... intense, and I want someone with me to remind me not to do anythin' stupid."
Josslyn nodded solemnly, reaching for his hand. "I will try my hardest to keep you from doing anything stupid." Threading their fingers together, she dropped her head to rest on his shoulder.
"I think that's all I had to tell ya. How about we finish our zoo adventure, hm?"
She giggled at that, looking up at him a minute with her hands resting on either side of her. "No more secrets to share?" she confirmed. "You're not Spiderman or Batman or an undercover agent for the FBI or anything?" Chuckling, she took his offered hand and pulled close to him. "Sounds good to me. Who should we see next? Lions or tigers or bears, oh my?"

"Definitely,"
He smiled brightly, pulling her close. "Why, Miss Danner, I think I might have to watch my step around ye." He said softly, kissing her lips tenderly.
"I will try my hardest to keep you from doing anything stupid."
He nodded. "Good, god knows sometimes I tend to over-react." He admitted. He had no problem pointing out his flaws. It was something he was grown to do. As his mum said; 'No sense in hiding from who and what you truly are.'
"No more secrets to share?" she confirmed. "You're not Spiderman or Batman or an undercover agent for the FBI or anything?"
He laughed at that, shaking his head. "Nah, not spideyman, or batman, or an undercover FBI agent. Just a simple guy, who happens to be an angel." He shrugged with a smirk. "Hope that's okay. God forbid if I'm not exciting enough for ye." He cracked a grin.
"Sounds good to me. Who should we see next? Lions or tigers or bears, oh my?"
His smile widened. He loved their time together, nothing was forced. There was no awkward silences, and she usually spoke her mind. Which he admired alot. "Hmm..." He thought that over a minute. "How about we go check out the polar bear exhibit, yeah?"

Josslyn accepted the kiss happily, leaning against him. She nodded to his comments, just enjoying the day around them. It really was a wonderful thing, sharing life with Cain. They could be fun and light and free as easily as they could be serious and intense. The dichotomy and harmony to their relationship was something Josslyn had never experienced before and she found she liked it.
"Hope that's okay. God forbid if I'm not exciting enough for ye."
Josslyn laughed at that and hugged close to him, fixing her face against his chest. "No, no, no. Believe me: the last thing I need is exciting. I like you just the way your are. Even if you are an angel." She grinned up at him but she was being sincere. After everything with Eric and that whole mess Josslyn wasn't looking for too much "excitement" in a relationship. Just good, old-fashioned, easy-going care.
"How about we go check out the polar bear exhibit, yeah?"
"Polar bears it is," Josslyn agreed, steering them toward the proper exhibit.

"No, no, no. Believe me: the last thing I need is exciting. I like you just the way your are. Even if you are an angel."
He smiled, his hand holding hers as they walked. "Good to know." He nodded. "Oh, and of course I like you just the way you are." He grinned, bumping into her slightly with a chuckle. They walked into the exibit, the clear glass surrounding them so they could see the polar bears dive under and swim.
He stood there, fixated on the bears for the longest time. His brows furrowed as he sensed something odd. His head slowly turned, looking down at a little girl standing next to them. He gave her a soft smile, and then turned back to the bears.
That's odd.. He thought. I sense another angel..

Brianna's head dipped to the side as she looked at the bears. Her mouth hung open before she giggled, putting her hand to the glass. "Dey so... so..." She tried to find the right word, but ended up giggling instead. "Look!" She pointed as one of them swam over to the glass, puting his nose to where her hand was.
Which only made Brie erupt in giggles. Her head turned, catching the man beside her smiling down at her. She beamed a smile back at him. Her head turned back to the bears, but then snapped back to Cain almost immediately. "Oh mai gosh!" She shrieked loudly, a giggle following suit.
He was an angel too! Boy.. his wings were huge! She turned her head, looking at her tiny white wings as they fluttered. "Mines small... but dey works." She giggled. She noticed he wasn't starring at her now. She reached up, tugging on his jeans. "Meestir.." She called softly. "Joo an angeel too?"

"Oh, and of course I like you just the way you are."
Josslyn giggled and nodded. "Well, how could you not?" She fell into giggles again, shaking her head.
Once they arrived at the polar bears, she became just as enchanted as him. Something was just relaxing about watching the bears swim slowly back and forth. But then Cain turned a bit and caught Josslyn's attention. She followed his eyes and found a cute little girl standing near by. Josslyn offered her a smile. Where is her mother? Josslyn wondered.
Josslyn fell into giggles with the little girl. Her enthusiasm over the bears was so contagious. And she really was adorable to boot.
"Mines small... but dey works. Meestir.. Joo an angeel too?"
Josslyn's eyes widened. Whoa. Little angel. She cocked her head. That was kind of sad, actually. And she guessed she had an answer to where the little girl's parents were...

He again, got lost in the amazement of the bears swimming. He chuckled softly at the girl's reactions. When he felt her tug on his pants, he smiled down at her. "Yes, sweetie?"
"Meestir.." She called softly. "Joo an angeel too?"
To say he was taken aback, was an understatement. "I.. uh.." He looked to Josslyn and then back to the girl, crouching down to her level. Now he could see it, the light of her wings was nearly blinding. She was as pure as any angel could be. "Yes.. yes I am." He answered softly with a smile.
"Just what are you doing down here?"

"I.. uh.."
She grinned, giggling softly at his response. "Ees okay. Joo can tell me." She nodded eagerly, wanting to know for sure if he was an angel or not. "Joo got big wings." She covered her mouth and giggled as she pointed at them. "Dey HUGE!"
"Yes.. yes I am."
She squealed with delight. "Oh! oh! I knews eet!" She giggled. "I's perdy smart, huh?" She beamed a smile at Josslyn.
"Just what are you doing down here?"
"I.." What was she doing here again? Her eyes drifted to the right as she thought. "OH!" She exclaimed as she figured it out. "I was sent here. Sometin' bout findin' an angeel." She tapped at her chin. "I forgets his name..."
She tilted her head. "Who joo? I's Brianna." She grinned

Josslyn rested her hands on Cain's shoulders, looking down at the little girl. "I's perdy smart, huh?" Josslyn chuckled. "You sure are," she agreed, smiling back at her.
"I was sent here. Sometin' bout findin' an angeel." She tapped at her chin. "I forgets his name..."
"Well, you got lucky," Josslyn said. "I bet we can help you find that angel." Cain would probably know whoever it was from working at the S&S lounge. "I forgets his name... Who joo? I's Brianna." "Nice to meet you, Brianna. I'm Josslyn."

Her mouth dropped open. "Weally!?" She shrieked, as she jumped up and down clapping her hands. "Dey gonna be so poud of me." She beamed another smile, pointing up at the heavens. "Dey sayed I was be-beeetter off wit hims."
"Nice to meet you, Brianna. I'm Josslyn."
She grinned. "Josssssssslyn." She smiled. "Hi." She waved.

"Joo got big wings." She covered her mouth and giggled as she pointed at them. "Dey HUGE!"
Cain grinned. "Yeah, they're not bad." He laughed softly. "And yours.. they're very pretty." He said, grabbing one of them and shaking it lightly. This girl, she was adorably cute.
"OH!" She exclaimed as she figured it out. "I was sent here. Sometin' bout findin' an angeel." She tapped at her chin. "I forgets his name..."
He smiled lightly. "That's okay." He told her gently. "Well, you got lucky," Josslyn said. "I bet we can help you find that angel." He smiled back at Josslyn, seemed she must have been reading his mind or something. He was going to say the exact same thing. "Yup."
"Who joo? I's Brianna."
"Nice to meet you, Brianna. I'm Cain." He told her. "Nice to meet you, Brianna. I'm Josslyn." He grinned back at Josslyn.
"Dey gonna be so poud of me." She beamed another smile, pointing up at the heavens. "Dey sayed I was be-beeetter off wit hims."
He smirked, nodding as he stood back up. "Yeah?" He chuckled. It was sad to see that heaven put this girl on earth by herself, making her look for an angel, whom she didn't know the name of. "Well, we better get searching."

"Well, we better get searching."
Josslyn grinned to Cain, bumping her hip lightly against his. Taking ont of the little girl's hands in her own, she feigned a jealous look to Brianna. "You're so lucky. I wish I had pretty wings like you do." She shot a smile and a wink to Cain.

[[I'm lazy lol Didn't feel like switching]]
Cain chuckled softly at Josslyn's antics. He grabbed her hand, holding out another for Brianna. "You're so lucky. I wish I had pretty wings like you do." He smiled, shaking his head as they headed out. Where was he to begin the search? "Brianna." He began. "You sure you don't remember their name?"
--
"Nice to meet you, Brianna. I'm Cain."
Brianna's eyes went wide as she smiled up at him, taking the hand he offered to her. Her head bounced from side to side as she walked alongside them. She hummed the lullaby her mother use to sing to her.
"You're so lucky. I wish I had pretty wings like you do."
"Joo thilly, Jossie." She giggled. "Joo may not has wings, but joo gots a angel watchin' you." She grinned over at her. Everyone did really, always there, always watching. And when in the time of need, they tended to step forward.
"Brianna." He began. "You sure you don't remember their name?"
This sent her into a fit of giggles. "It's joo thilly!"

[[LOL s'all right]]
"Joo thilly, Jossie. Joo may not has wings, but joo gots a angel watchin' you."
Josslyn gave a suprised laugh, looking down at the littly girl. "You are smart," she repied, tapping Brianna on the nose. She hadn't really had the time to consider it, but the angel-girl was right. Cain was an angel watching over her. He was her angel. To Cain, she joked, "Hear that? You're my angel."
"It's joo thilly!"
Her head cocked to the side at that. "You mean Cain is the one they sent you to find? He's the one they want you to stay with?"
Whoa. Guess they weren't done telling secrets yet...

"Hear that? You're my angel."
Cain chuckled, giving a soft nod. "Damn--darn straight." He quickly corrected himself with an impish grin. What came next, he wasn't willing to deal with at the moment.
"It's joo thilly!" "You mean Cain is the one they sent you to find? He's the one they want you to stay with?"
He froze. Unable to speak. Unable to move. Thoughts raced through his mind on why they had sent this little girl to him. Why.. why on earth had they done this? Just when things were starting to get slightly normal for him.. Now this...
Brianna nodded eagerly. "Yeah, an' dey says I no loud ta tell." She told Josslyn truthfully. "Eets a seceet." She winked, putting her index finger over her mouth and making a 'shh' sound.

"Yeah, an' dey says I no loud ta tell.
Josslyn nodded conspiratorially. She wasn't supposed to tell anyone? Then why had she told her and Cain? Or maybe she just meant she wasn't supposed to tell anyone else? Honestly, her head was just spinning at top speed. So...Cain was just supposed to take care of this little girl? Without any request beforehand or anything?
"Well," she said softly, in wonderment. She turned to Cain, chuckling softly in confusion. "How about that?"

"Yeah, an' dey says I no loud ta tell." She told Josslyn truthfully. "Eets a seceet."
Cain's brows furrowed as he let go of Josslyn's hand and crouched down before Brianna. "You can't tell me?" He asked. "What if you whisper it to me?" He asked with a soft smile. He needed to know the reason.
"Well," she said softly, in wonderment. She turned to Cain, chuckling softly in confusion. "How about that?"
His eyes slowly traveled to Josslyn as he nodded softly. "It's somethin' alright."
-
Brianna shrugged. They didn't say she couldn't tell Cain. So why not just whisper it to him? She leaned in close, cuffing her mouth as she whispered into his ear. "I's a weepon. Da deeemans can't get me. Dey knew joo could pro-test me."
