It was odd. Last time he was here, was with Amarie, Molleigh, and Brianna. Now he was here on his own accord, hoping he'd run into Saikoro. The last few weeks, he'd been doing quite a lot of thinking. About himself, Josslyn, Amarie, and Saikoro. He wanted to be a good man, but he'd made a ass of himself a few times. Josslyn deserved better, and he'd realized that Saikoro and him were alot a like. He sighed, starring out at the park across the street. Usually he'd be there, taking pictures.. But this was more important. He brought his cup of black coffee to his lips, taking a sip. He wondered how long he'd have to sit here, if he had to go seek him out. Lord knows, he was hoping for a public place, knowing their past, an argument would probably ensue--but he hoped it wouldn't. It was time for a man to man talk.

Saikoro had no clue why he was here. He hadn't gone out and about much sense the.....well... It didn't matter. He just had to get used to thinks. Sighing, he stopped at the Starbucks door, wondering weather or not he could open it. Stretching his right hand as if getting ready to lift something, he let out a deep breath. His arm reached up, he grabbed the door handle, pulled it open and walked in. So far so good. It had been a while since the discussion at the house and frankly, Sai never took a thought to Cain. Why should Cain get to see Molleigh when he never got to see Oliver? How was that even fair?! It wasn't. He couldn't seem to change it either. He wished he could, but it wasn't possible. Sometimes, Saikoro wondered if seeing Oliver would really be worth it in the end. Truthfully, it wouldn't. By then, he'd have his family who he loved to take care of...and Ollie would have his happy little family. There'd be no time for each other. That bond would break. Heck, Sai'd have his own sons to watch. Sons that knew him and wanted to know him. Son's that hadn't been raised by the enemy. Taking a deep breath, he walked forward to the counter, ordering a cup water. Yes, not coffee. Just water. He was worried what coffee might do to his arm if he spilled it.

He'd got lost, looking in the cup of coffee that his hand held onto. Barely hearing the soft ding of the door opening, slowly his head lifted, shaking the thoughts from his head. His eyes squinted as Saikoro walked up towards the counter. Should he say something now? Nervously, he rubbed at the back of his head.
"Uh, Saikoro?" He called out lightly. Staying seated, in case the man decided to bolt instead. Couldn't blame him. Cain had said some pretty... ignorant things last time he saw him. He then started to wonder, had Sai been thinking about it as much as he had? Did he think that Amarie brought out the best in him, and in order to be the best, did he ever think that maybe an apology was in order?
He brought the cup to his lips, his eyes set on Sai. Wondering what he'd say.. what he'd end up doing...

Saikoro froze and then turned to look at the man. Why? Why was he talking to him? He sighed and gazed away from Cain. "What do you want?" He grumbled tiredly as he looked at his own right arm. "Did you come to yell at me perhaps? Or did you take my challenge and you came to finally kill me?"
He didn't seem too happy. No Apology was in order. He didn't deserve what he got to do. Cain was just like him. Cain needed to just forget about it....about Molleigh. "I'm not really in a chatting mood, you know, so make it quick. He looked anxious.

"What do you want? Did you come to yell at me perhaps? Or did you take my challenge and you came to finally kill me?"
Cain rubbed at his neck, staying seated. "No, actually.." He took a deep breath and sighed. Jus' get it out and over with yeah? "I, uh.. wanted to talk to you a moment." He offered up softly, taking another sip of his coffee.
I'm not really in a chatting mood, you know, so make it quick."
Boy, this wasn't going to be easy. Or quick, despite Sai's previous statement. "Yeah, I'll try." He scratched at his right eyebrow a moment. "So.. I guess the main reason for me bein' here is ta.. ya know.." This was hard. "Apologize an' all."

What the hell? He wanted to apologize? Bullshit. He wanted something. This had to be the trick to kill him. "Apologize? Why? Does this mean you're going to let go and stop insisting to see Molleigh?" He asked bitterly. He didn't seem too pleased. He sighed as he tried to pick up the water and his robotick hand would not respond correctly.
"Or are you still planning on court. OR you could simply hire someone to kill me and now you want to be friends just so that you're not a suspect when I die?" He suggested out.

"Apologize? Why? Does this mean you're going to let go and stop insisting to see Molleigh?"
Cain starred at him a moment, watching. What was wrong with his hand? He seemed to have troubles picking that glass up.. Shaking his head, he rubbed at the back of it. "No.. I s'ill plan on fightin' ta see Molleigh. She's me daugh'er. 'Course you've already heard that.." He'd said it a lot, between then and now...
"Or are you still planning on court? OR you could simply hire someone to kill me and now you want to be friends just so that you're not a suspect when I die?"
"Oi.. Are ya thick?" He said, smiling softly. "I don' hate ya that much, Saikoro.." He laughed softly. A moment later he swallowed roughly. Reaching out for his cup of joe, he took a sip. "Ya know we got names for your kind in Ireland. Gouger, means you're right aggressive."
He ran a hand over his face, smiling softly. "No.. I don' plan on killin' ye, or takin' Amarie to court. We'll work it out.." Always did.. Already did.. sort of. "I've.. seen the light. so ta speak." He said softly.
"You and I.. We've got a lot in common, Saikoro."

He gave up on trying to get this arm to work and turned to look at Cain. Aggressive? So it was a universal word to explain him now?! Saikoro didn't set well with that and as he continued to speak, Sai was getting more and more angered.
"You and I.. We've got a lot in common, Saikoro."
"No. We're not. Your life is fair. Mine isn't. You get to see your child and still be called "daddy". I don't. You get everything you hope for. I lose my arm trying to save the woman that took my son away from me!" When Sai finished that statement, he looked teary eyed but without the tears. He was upset by it and to add to that, he couldn't pick up his drink.

Well, part of him knew he'd react like this. But it didn't mean it didn't hurt. Getting short down for an apology, and whatnot, it hurt, stung even. He sighed, letting go of his cup and taking to his feet. "First off... My life is good because I make it tha' way, Saikoro. Horrid things can be thrown my way but I manage to push through it..." Look at the whole Amarie, and dying thing.. He rubbed at the back of his head as he walked over to him. "Wish that came out better.."
He starred at Saikoro's arm, and then to the cup. "You, uh.. Want some help?" He put on a soft smile. "Hey, and besides. You got a good wife; I hear she's pregnant again, yeah?"

"You don't wish anything, Cain. You don't care what goes on in my life. If anything, you probably wish me dead." Saikoro sighed, rubbing his face with his left hand. Of all things, he hated when the thought of him missing Oliver was brought up out of a conversation. It never settled well with him and still didn't. He let out a dry laugh and shook his head. "Your life is good because I'm the only one who dislikes you. Compare that to the three hundred and seventy people who hate me. I'm glad Amarie isn't one of those people."
Looking up from his hand, he turned to look away, shaking his head in reply. No. He didn't need help. However, he did perk up a little when Cain mentioned about Amarie's pregnancy. "Yeah....she is. Triplets. Saw the scans yesterday. They could pick out a girl and a boy....but not the last one." Saikoro said calmly with a bit of a smile.
Suddenly, the smile faded and he sighed, "I'm sorry, Cain. But since you seem like you want to help...........I.....I could use your help with something. Emma just....just won't see things my way and I need....company." He looked sadly at Cain. "I know we two don't like each other but I can't keep relying on Azrael to keep me company so.....would you? It's not often anyone comes up to me, willing to be friendly."

"You don't wish anything, Cain. You don't care what goes on in my life. If anything, you probably wish me dead."
That stung. "That's not true." He told him. "I never wished death on you.. okay.. maybe once." He smiled, looking sheepish as his blue orbs met Saikoro. "But tha' is all behind me. I want to move forward, I don't want to be stuck on someone who doesn't love me anymore, when I have someone who loves me so deeply.." Josslyn, immediately a smile formed.
"Yeah....she is. Triplets. Saw the scans yesterday. They could pick out a girl and a boy....but not the last one."
He slapped a hand to Sai's shoulder, a huge grin on his face. "Congratulations." He laughed. "Triplets.. wow." Three, amung the other three they had.. There house would be nothing but a big playpen for tots. "Ye ready for all tha'? Bein' a father of three?"
"I'm sorry, Cain.
Cain blinked several times. Okay, who was this man and what had they done with the Saikoro he knew? "I.. yuh." He cleared his throat and smiled. "I already told ya I don' hate ya." He quickly put in. "Of course, I mean.. af'er all. That's why I came here today."

Saikoro gave a small smile. "Thamks....and I'm ready as I'll ever be. I mean, there's harder things than taking care of six kids." It was true. He had done much harder things than that. Sai was indeed a very good father and with his strange obsession of making sure his loved ones were entirely safe, this would be no problem for him to do.
He was quite relieved to hear Cain accept. After all, he had needed some sort of friend to talk to for a very long time. "Thanks. I really....appreciate it." He said with a soft look of happiness.

"Thanks....and I'm ready as I'll ever be. I mean, there's harder things than taking care of six kids."
Cain smirked softly as he grabbed Sai's glass and inclined his head to the table he was sitting at prior to Sai's entrance. "Well, 'hat's good then, yeah? Trust me, I know exac'ly what y' mean." He smiled, nodding softly as he took a seat, and handed Sai his drink as he picked up his own. "But six.. " He blew out some air. "'hat's alot."
"Thanks. I really....appreciate it."
He gave a nod as he took a sip of his drink. "No worries." He told him gently. "Y' know, I 'old meself that you had nothin' ta do with the decision of Molleigh.. truth is, 'hat's not true. You do.. You're in Amarie's life, and you should have a say, y'know?" He was just worried that he'd flat out say no to visiting Molleigh, and letting her visit him on weekends.
