Slight Lost, but finding my wayDesign BookShe sat at one of the tables near the front, so when Terry walked in, she could simply wave her over. Her black-leather bound book, sat by her side on the table as she picked up the glass of sparkling water and took a sip. Checking her watch, she opened the book again, flipping through the most recent designs she had made last night when she couldn't sleep.. again.
It was a never-endless battle with her. She'd wake up suddenly in the middle of the night with an idea. She couldn't rightfully go back to sleep, and end up losing her plans. So, she did what any righteous designer would do. She got up, grabbed her sketch book, and started.
Little did she know, three designs later, and the sun was beginning to rise. But that's the way it was, and there was no use trying to fight it. Like her mother said; can't fight what's right.
So here she was, in New York, getting ready to meet one of it's top fashion designers. Anxiousness and a tiny bit of nervousness ran through her body, giving her a slight case of goosebumps.
Her head lifted, hearing the soft ding of the doorbell. "Terry, over here." She smiled, waving the woman over.

Terry rushed out of her car and into the resturant hurriedly. She was late again. Why do these things always happen to me? She wondered. Lilian was waiting for her at a table near the front and Terry walked up to her. "Sorry i'm late I had to finnish up my dress." Terry appologized, taking a drink of water. Terry had been working on her wedding dress, it looked amazing. She set her formal design books down on the table and sat back. "How are you Lilian?"

"Sorry i'm late I had to finnish up my dress."
Lily smiled softly. "No worries. I wasn't waiting too long, gave me some time to think." She told her softly. "By all means, take a seat." She chuckled softly, gesturing towards it with her hand, her other sat ontop of her book.
"How are you Lilian?"
"Oh, psh." She waved her off with a wide smile. "I told you to call me Lily." She laughed gently. "I'm.. good, tired. But good. How are you? And, what's this dress that's kept you so late?" She asked.

Terry blushed. "Sorry, habbit."
"I'm.. good, tired. But good. How are you? And, what's this dress that's kept you so late?" Lily asked. Terry twiddled her hair.
"Well..." She coughed, holding out her hand. On it held the engagment ring. "It took him AGES but he finally did it. Talon and I have been together for four years, I was begining to worry." Terry laughed, a smile as wide as the moon plastered on her face.

Lilian looked down at her finger, her eyes widening. "Oh my gosh! Congratulations!" She chuckled, bringing Terry into a hug. "Wow, look at that thing, it's huge." She laughed softly. Well, she has you beat Lil, by an engagement. She shook her head, riding herself of those thoughts.
She was perfectly happy being single. Though, the nights tended to get a tad lonely. She made a face, taking the glass in her hand and taking a sip. "I wanna hear more. How did he propose?" She asked, smiling softly.

Terry caught the look on Lily's face. "You're single huh? That's amazing, you're so pretty im amazed there aren't TONS of men waiting for you." Terry said. Terry caught the waiter. "Can we have two orders of the Fettichini Shrimp and Chicken?" The waiter nodded and left.
"Anyway. He called me up at five thirty PM and asked me to meet him at Brooklynn bridge at six fifteen. He's known me for so long I think he planned for me to be there late. So i get there, fifteen minutes late because of traffic, and the sun was setting.
"He chose a spot looking out over the bridge, it was so pretty, you would've loved it. Talon bent down and began tieing his shoes, and I didn't think anything of it. Right before he bowed his shoe, he took out the box and popped the question."
Terry took a sip of her water. "Want to see the dress?" She grabbed her design book and oppened it to a spot that was bookmarked.

"I.. uh." She laughed, tilting her head down a moment. "Yeah." She smiled, nodding her head. "Oh please." She laughed, waving her hand. I'm quite picky. She told herself with a soft sigh. She smiled at the waiter and nodded.

"Mhm." Lily smiled softly, listening closely. "He chose a spot looking out over the bridge, it was so pretty, you would've loved it. Talon bent down and began tieing his shoes, and I didn't think anything of it. Right before he bowed his shoe, he took out the box and popped the question." "Oh wow.." She grinned. "Romantic."
"Want to see the dress?" "Oh, of course." She grinned, nodding and leaning in slightly so she could see.

Terry turned the book over to her. "We don't like fitting into things exactly, so we decided to theme it. After he proposed we went home and watched a bunch of movies, somehow ending up at the Corpse Bride. He thought it was a fun idea. We're even getting married in a graveyard." Terry laughed. The dress was based off of Emily's but with a few moderations by Terry. "I just need to find a place to add the spider and the worm."The waiter came back and set their orders down. "Sorry for ordering for you, if you don't want it i'll eat it. I hardly eat a good meal at home. Talon doesn't cook much and Viviane is to young so I end up cooking or we go out to eat. I'm a terrible cook."

She smiled brightly as she starred down at the drawings. "Very, unique." She chuckled softly. "So is all of the color going to co-ordinate off of the bridesmaids dresses or will it be different?" She asked softly, lifting her head as the waiter came back.
"I just need to find a place to add the spider and the worm."
"Hmm.." She lifted the book up so he could put the plate down. "Well, you could always put one on each shoulder area. Or on the dress in different places." She told her. "Sorry for ordering for you, if you don't want it i'll eat it. I hardly eat a good meal at home." She shook her head. "No, it's perfectly fine, Terry." She smiled.
"Talon doesn't cook much and Viviane is to young so I end up cooking or we go out to eat. I'm a terrible cook." Lily perked a brow. "Viviane?" She asked softly.

"I believe it will be after the cake which is a combination of blue and purple. The Bride's maid's dresses aren't set in stone yet, but everyone at the wedding is encouraged to dress like corpses."
"Viviane?" Lily asked. Terry smiled fondly.
"My adoptive daughter. I am unable to have children and she had no parents. She'll be in the show, you might see her there." Terry hinted.

Lily gave a soft nod, picking up the fork and taking a stab at the fettuccine. "Like I said, it's very unique, Terry." She smiled, closing her eyes as she took a bite. It was heaven. So creamy and very tasty.
"My adoptive daughter. I am unable to have children and she had no parents. She'll be in the show, you might see her there."
"Mm." She placed a hand over her mouth and swallowed. "I'm so sorry to hear that. Glad to hear that she has you though." She smiled softly, grabbing for the water, and bringing it to her lips. "So.." She cleared her through, winding the noodles around her fork as she talked. "When's the date?"
