Terry got the pictures of all of the possible models. She would need one less kid then she was planning, because Viviane had graciously accepted. The first group of models were brought in and they nervously scanned the tables. About half their eyes stopped on Terry and the began whispering animatedly. There were four other designers who were asked to design for the Winter Fashion Show, none of them had Terry's taste or were even mentioned among the stars of the clothing design world like Terry. Still she felt nervous, hundreds of people were going to see her outfits in Rockefeller park on Christmas Eve. Terry did a quick non-commital look at all the models to rule out those she knew couldn't wear her outfits (personality and look wise) and placed five pictures in a pile of no-gos. Terry took a deep breath as the first model was called to walk and introduce herself. This is going to be a long day.

simplicity is the keySinead had no idea what she was doing here. She hated showing off. She hated people. She hated being... a center of attention. So modeling was not really her thing. But maybe she should try and be bolder? Maybe this was what she needed?
She was sure she was physically okay for modeling-she was very skinny, due to her eating disorders--but she was not sure if she was mentally prepared for this. Maybe if she was lucky she would immediately be sent away.
But if she wanted to be sent away, why had she actually tried to dress nicely and look good for this?

Fashion; Style is essential, and eternalThe place was packed. Between teenagers, and adults. From designers, to simple models. Everyone wanted a tiny bit of this show. She had to admit, she was a fan of Terry's, since she first saw her dresses in the catalog. She untied her coat, slipping it off and draping it over her arm. Her eyes scanned the area for the girl, before finally stopping on her behind a little make-ship desk.
She smiled as she walked up beside her. "You have some beautiful designs, Terry." She grinned. "The name is Lilian. Lilian Walker." Nervousness, radiated off the woman, and she couldn't help but let a soft chuckle out. "Don't be nervous. Like my mom always said; Follow the three C's. Calm, cool, and collected." She nodded.
Even if she wasn't picked as a model, she really didn't mind. She'd much rather just see some of the designs the girl has made. Though, they were much different than her own. It was good to see the many different designs, and learn from them, as her mother always said.

She had never done anything like this. But she liked fashion and she loved Terry's work, so why not go for it, right? It would be fun, at least. An experience. Entering the building, she was struck. Eyes widening, she murmured a soft, "Whoa." There was a whole lot of people there. Wow. Well, it wasn't like she was seriously looking for a modeling job or anything; just some fun. Stepping further inside, she spotted Terry immediately, speaking with another woman. "Hey there," she greeted softly, cheeks gaining a little blush. "This is so awesome, congratulations on the opportunity."

Terry was confused. Weren't models soposed to wait until they could do their walk? Terry mentaly shrugged, she kind of liked the opportunity to meet them, get a feel for their personalities. Terry's work was all about being comfortable in your own skin while still being yourself.
One liked to talk alot, the other one seemed at ease and joking.. Terry suddenly realized that one of them was one of her favorite designers, Lilian walker! Terry stood up and gave her a hug.
"Oh my gosh! You're Lilian Walker, i LOVE your work!"
There was another model that she saw a definate potential for. The quiet one at the middle of the line.
"Thank you! Yeah this is the first fashion show i've been asked to take part of, i'm looking forward to it." The announcer spoke into a mic.
"We are about to begin, please take your places in line" He said. The designers, all at seperate desks, shuffled their papers and got ready with sheets. Terry looked down at her stuff, oh how she wished Talon were here. That quiet girl looks just right for the highlight of the sleep wear section. I hope it would make her more comfortable. Terry sized her up once more. She was skinny, to skinny in Terry's oppinion, and nervous looking, like she hated being payed attention to.
And the blonde one that came to see me is happy being who she is. I like it... maybe the green dress.

She watched two girls just walk up to Terry and start talking. They seemed to be introducing themselves. Should she have done that too? But it seemed like there was no time for that now; as the speaker guy had asked veryone to get in their places. Yeah, Sinead was nervous, but... She actually kinda wanted to do this. So she straighened up and held her head slightly higher, managing a small smile as the first few people in line got ready to do what they had to do.
She noticed Terry was looking at her, and hoped that that wasn't a bad thing. Sinead was a people pleaser, but she was sure nervousness overrode that part of her personality right now. She wrapped her arms around herself in a comforting way. It was time to do this. She kept convincing herself it wouldn't be that bad...

"Oh my gosh! You're Lilian Walker, i LOVE your work!"
Taken aback a moment by the hug, Lily smiled brightly. "Yeah, that's me. Just call me Lily though. Really looking forward to seeing your winter line." Suddenly the announcer spoke out, telling the models to take thier place. "That's my cue. I'll talk to you more later." She smiled, walked off and standing next to a rather thin girl.
"Are you nervous?" She asked softly, leaning towards her a little. "'Cause if you are, don't be. All you really have to do is stand there, take directions, and look pretty." She laughed softly. "You'll do fine."

Josslyn grinned and moved off in accordance to the announcer, following the other woman. She vaguely recognized the name Lillian Walker. She seemed fun, anyway. Listening to her instructions to the quieter girl, Josslyn had to giggle. "Standing there and looking pretty I can handle," she joked light-heartedly.
"I'm Josslyn by the way," she added, offering her hand to Lillian first and passing a grin to the shy girl.

Terry wondered why Lilian was modeling instead of designing but shrugged it off. She had to concentrate on the models. With each model Terry would put the picture into one of three piles. The first pile was a "no goes" pile. The second was a "call backs" pile. The third, and smallest, held the "DEFINATELY" models. Terry waited anxiously for the shy girl to go. She was looking decidedly less pale and alot more confident in herself. Terry could already see her walking down the run way in the pajama set.
