Family[ily]Always the love songsToday was a family day, so they all decided a joy ride outside of the city. Heading down the old roads, he couldn't help but listen to country. Anyone who knew Dean, knew he wasn't that type of man; but with what was going to eventually happen, he began finding the meaning behind the songs. Harmony hung her arm out the window, letting the breeze take her away. Dean just smiled, taking her free hand and bringing it to his lips and giving it a kiss. They'd been out here for hours, and Regan was getting restless. " Dad?" Logan called out, finally losing that toddler tone he carried around all the time. Looking through the rear-view mirror, his eyes landed on his son. " Yeah bud?" He smiled softly as Eli young band came over the radio, singing 'always the love songs'. " I'm gettin hungee." He sighed, looking out the window. It always slips through. Dean thought, a small smirk on his face. " Alright buddy, we'll find someplace to eat soon." He told him lightly. " Mom?" Logan looked to Harmony. " Can we go visit with Aunt Emma, and Uncle Cian, and Ollie, and Mo-mo?" He asked, eyes pleading. Regan threw her hands in the air then. " Mo-mo!" She laughed. Dean chuckled softly, looking over to the love of his life. " Up to you, baby." He told her, giving her hand another kiss. " And, if you think about it, the kids can raid their fridge." He chuckled. Regan jumped up and down in her car-seat, her hair done up in pigtails. She looked so cute. Thank god we got her back... He thought to himself as he looked back at her again. " Owwie and Mo-Mo Mommy!" Dean smirked, knowing that would tug on Harmony's heartstrings, as it always had. " Yeah mommy, Owwie and Mo-mo." He mimicked Regan with a chuckle. Harmony gave him a look, before sighing.

It was the first time in weeks that they had gone out as family. Harmony wasn't feeling sick today so they decided to go on a joy ride, but a joy ride with an almost 5 year old and a toddler is impossible. Her hand hung out the window as a smile climbed across her face. For a while life would be great, but how long would that last?
Dean grabbed her free hand and kissed it softly. She looked over at him lovingly just taking in the smile on his face. Regan was beginning to whine in the backseat not liking the thought of being in her carseat the whole day. And as if the two were connected Logan began to speak up.
"Dad?" "Yeah bud?" "I'm gettin hungee."
Harmony let out a soft laugh as she looked back at her precious son. Dean answered him. "Alright buddy, we'll find someplace to eat soon." It seemed the baby growing inside of her agreed as her stomach began to growl. She rubbed it softly just as Logan placed his attention on her. "Can we go visit with Aunt Emma, and Uncle Cian, and Ollie, and Mo-mo?" Harmony looked at Dean as if she was pained to have to make this decision on her own.
"Mo-mo!"
Regan loved Maura. They were so close. Why would Harmony be the one to say no to these beautiful babies of hers? "Up to you, baby." He told her, giving her hand another kiss. "And, if you think about it, the kids can raid their fridge." He chuckled. She sighed looking away from Logan and down to her stomach. "Well...."
"Owwie and Mo-Mo Mommy!" Dean smirked, knowing that would tug on Harmony's heartstrings, as it always had. "Yeah mommy, Owwie and Mo-mo." She looked at Dean and then sighed once again. Sure, Harmony had, had problems with Emma in the past that still caused her to be uneasy at times...But the kids loved them. Sometimes a little more than her.
A smile came across her face as she shook her head softly. "Okay okay. We can go. But only if mommy gets to raid their fridge too?" Harmony gave a small laugh as she looked over to Dean. It would mean so much to him and the kids if she got along with Emma. Why not start now?

"Well...."
Dean knew how Harmony was feeling. He didn't have to read her mind, simply because it was written on her face. He took her hand again, giving it a soft squeeze. As she smiled, he knew she was already going to give into the kids desires to see their friends and aunt and uncle.
"Okay okay. We can go. But only if mommy gets to raid their fridge too?"
He pulled over then, near the bank of the Hudson river. "Alright, alright." He sort of shouted out as the kids in the backseat went ballistic. "Lemme call and make sure they're home first." He laughed, looking over at Harmony and giving her a kiss before reaching for his cell from his back pocket.
Pulling it out, he quickly dialed Rosewood's number. Hearing it ring a few times, he smiled. "Hey, Em. The kids want to come over, and I have a pregnant wife who is hungry." He laughed, nodding as she talked back to him. "Well, it'll take us a few to get back to the city. How about a mini barbecue?" He asked as he slowly pulled back onto the road. "Alright, see you in a few then." He laughed, hanging up.
Logan kept repeating 'yes' over and over and Regan cheered for joy as Dean's own stomach began to growl. "I'm hungry now, all this talk of raiding fridges." He grinned.

You Ain't Gonna Tease No Other, Everybody's Gonna Love Today((PS- longest outfit title EVER. smd, whores, and bow downnn!)) In a surprisingly good mood, considering her husband was on the slow but steady recovery back to humanism, Oliver and Maura were growing at the speed of light, and her hormones were lingering somewhere in her pituitary gland waiting to unleash their monstrosity any day now, Emma merrily danced through the morning routine, receiving fight-less compensation for her delight. The kids cooperated smoothly--except for the occasional snag if "I don't want to brush my teeth" and "Five more minutes, Mommy"--and it was starting to creep into lunchtime once they finally had the house not look like a tornado had gone through and left everyone else to pick up the pieces.
In the middle of their intensely competitive game of "Red Light, Green Light" out on the back lawn, Emma heard the telephone ring. She whipped around and exclaimed a fierce, "Red Light! 'Time out,' says the momma policewoman! Everybody freeze!" As the children obeyed with enthusiasm, both giggling and trying to make the other fall over or jerk away, she ran inside to catch the final ring. Holding it up to her ear, she answered breathlessly, "Rosewood Academy." Fuck it all if getting to say that wasn't awesome.
Dropping her formality as she heard the friendly voice on the other line, a smile creased her face. "Hey, Em."
"Hey, stranger," she answered.
"The kids want to come over, and I have a pregnant wife who is hungry."
Chuckling, she replied, "Story of my life. We'd love to have you over. I'll start fixing something for all of us."
She heard him laugh before he said, "Well, it'll take us a few to get back to the city. How about a mini barbecue?"
Emma nodded, not realizing that phones could not yet transmit bodily reactions. "Sounds good to me. I'll fire up the grill."
"Alright, see you in a few then."
A grin stretched her cheeks. "Later, tiger."
Hanging up, she went back out the sliding glass doors to announce the news to the rest of them. "Green Light, my cadets!" she shouted, once again in front of them and ready to receive the bombardment of her family. Catching them off-guard by not terminating their momentum with a "red light," she laughed as the two smaller ones tackled her to the ground.

Was it just him, or was the summer heat starting to kick in? Rolling down his window, he leaned against the door, one hand on the wheel and one arm hanging out the window. Sure, it was a bad example for the kids, but god damn it was hot. "Mom?" Logan sat up, tapping Harmony on the shoulder. "I'm thirsty."
Dean smirked, turning onto the road that lead straight into the big apple. "Should be there soon bud." He told him, looking back once more through the rear-view mirror. "But, if your lucky mom will give you the last juice box." He chuckled, turning to look at Harmony as he turned onto the main street.
Regan whined in the back seat, moving around and growing even more restless. " Alright baby girl, five minutes. Just five more minutes." He told her softly, making a right onto Park Avenue. "There's our house!" Logan exclaimed as they passed by.
Dean chuckled lightly. "That's right. What's our address?" They had to keep up on that with him, knowing he sometimes forgot. "Uh..." Logan pondered. "1345 Park.... avenue?" He said it right, but he ended it in a questionable tone.
Dean smiled. "You got it. Good job." He stuck one hand back there as Logan slapped it with a large grin on his face. "I know where we are! We're almost there!" Logan jumped in his seat. "Aunt Coco's." He pointed at Biella.
Dean nodded, as he drove down the main street to Rosewood. "And what's that?" He pointed as the school came into view. "AUNT EMMY'S!" He yelled, and as soon as the car was parked, he took off out the door, leaving Regan crying and wailing her arms about.
"That boy..." Dean sighed, opening the door with a smile. Loan quickly made his way around to the backyard (not even knowing where Emma and the kids were) and smiled as he saw a few familiar faces. "OLLIE! AUNT EMMY! MO-MO!" He screeched as he ran right for Emma's legs.

"Mom?" Logan sat up, tapping Harmony on the shoulder. "I'm thirsty."
Harmony only smiled as Dean answered for her. That was the perks of being married. You never had to be in things alone. You always had someone there to back you up. "Should be there soon bud." He told him, looking back once more through the rear-view mirror. "But, if your lucky mom will give you the last juice box."
Laughing as she leaned down and grabbed the last juice box she popped open the straw and stabbed it in the little hole for him. "Here you go baby boy. Try not to spill it okay?' She blow him a kissy kiss and then turned back around looking out at the road. Today was going to be great no matter where she was going to be she was going to enjoy it.
Regan interrupted the thought with a strong willful whine of unhappiness. "Da...Da! She squealed kicked her feet. "Alright baby girl, five minutes. Just five more minutes." She didn't sound very pleased, but she quieted up for a moment.
Logan began pointing out places excitedly. It was amazing how big he was getting and how fast he was learning. He would be a handsome smart boy one day. It wasn't long before they were on the main street of Rosewood. Dean influenced more of Logan's enthusiasm. "And what's that?" He pointed as the school came into view. "AUNT EMMY'S!" He yelled, and as soon as the car was parked, he took off out the door, leaving Regan crying and wailing her arms about.
Harmony only managed to laugh as she opened the door and climbed out. She grabbed Regan and rested her on her hip. "That boy..." Giggling she walked over to his side of the car and gave him a genlte kiss. "He is your son..." She winked at him as she began her walk to follow her son, and his squeals. "OLLIE! AUNT EMMY! MO-MO!" Regan squirmed in her arms. "Down...Down!
Harmony sighed. "You guys drive me crazy sometimes.." She smiled giving her a kiss on the forehead before she set her down. Regan ran as fast as sher little legs would let her after her brother. Harmony rounded the corner to the back of the house and froze when she saw emma. Dean came walking up shortly behind her. He gave her an encoraging glance. "Hey Emma! Ollie & Mo!' She called out waving to them all. "Need help getting anything started?" She asked polietly with a grin. One she hoped didn't look fake.
