Sparks Fly Two is better than oneGage was staying behind, something about a girl. Colt just smiled, nodded and took the keys to the jeep. That was eighteen hours ago. Driving all night, wasn't easy, but he'd done it before. By the time he pulled into the driveway of the Turner household, Harleigh was fast asleep. His brothers met him by the vehicle as soon as he opened it up. " You're in trouble." Griffin smirked, leaning against the jeep. " Shut up." Colt muttered, leaning back into the jeep and placing a hand on Harleigh's shoulder. " Hey." He said softly. " We're here." He reached in the back seat and threw a bag at Griffin. " Make yourself useful." He told him, pushing him off towards the house as the twins came running out. " Took you long enough to get here." Jason told him. "Yeah, what'd you do? Stop for some snookie?" Colt shook his head. " It's nookie, you nitwit." He laughed. " And no, I drove all night long. Can't do anything with traffic." He told them both. " Help me get these bags to the house." He told them. Soon enough, his dad was coming out of the house. " Lucas." Colt smiled, walking up and giving him hug. " Hey pops." He laughed softly. " Do I hear my second oldest son?" Came a voice from the kitchen. " Mama." He grinned widely as she laughed, coming out to the porch, arms wide open with a smile. " Who's the girl?" Griffin asked, slamming a bag into Colt's chest. Colt could tell Griffin was pretty upset with him, just by the way he spoke. " Harleigh." He called out to her. " This is, Griffin, Jason, Trevor. My father Bill, and my mom, Charline." He paued then. " Everyone, this is Harleigh."

Being the car with Colt....well it was not what she has suspected. She could tell he was somewhat nervous and anxious to get home to his family so he didn't talk much. They listened to country singing along to most of the songs, and before she knew it she was fast asleep in the passengers seat. "Hey." He said softly. "We're here."Harleigh opened her eyes as he got out of the car and immeadiately went off to greet his brothers, and then his parents. She ran her hands through her mess of a hair from the car ride, and got out of the car grabbing her one duffle bag of clothes slinging it over her shoulder. She watched amazed at all the brothers, and how much they looked like Colt. Then she saw him hg his dad....and then his mom. And she thought she was going to blow away in the wind. What was she doing here? She had only met the boy a few weeks ago, and now she was in his home town meeting his family. She wiped the terrified look off her face and put a bright smile on. "Yeah, what'd you do? Stop for some snookie?" Colt shook his head. "It's nookie, you nitwit." He laughed. "And no, I drove all night long. Can't do anything with traffic." He told them both. "Help me get these bags to the house." He told them.Harleigh couldn't help but start laughing. Obviously Colt was a lady's man, because everyone seemed to believe he would stop for some "snookie". She laughed at the boys mistake on words. Finding her doubts about coming here fade. "Who's the girl?" Griffin asked, slamming a bag into Colt's chest. Colt could tell Griffin was pretty upset with him, just by the way he spoke. "Harleigh." He called out to her. "This is, Griffin, Jason, Trevor. My father Bill, and my mom, Charline." He paued then. "Everyone, this is Harleigh."Her brow raised at the boy who asked who she was. He didn't sound happy, and well Colt didn't sound to happy to answer him. He almost sounded like he had forgotten she was even with him. She stepped out from behind the car and smiled, waving softly. "Hey Y'all." She kept the scared look off her face as she saw his mama look her up and down. She waited for someone to say something she felt like everyone had stopped just to look at her. She had wanted to stop and change before she had gotten here, but Colt never woke her....So there she stood in front of a grown southern woman in a shirt that showed her stomach. She knew the woman would not approve because her mother was a southern woman...and well she didn't approve.

Silence.
Seemed everyone was starring at Harleigh, and then looking at him as if he had an answer, to what, he didn't know. "Ya'll are being rude." He finally said aloud, looking around his brothers. "Like I care." Griffin chimed in, before disappearing into the house. His mama just sighed. "Well, come on inside."
Colt nodded, reaching for Haleigh's hand and giving it a light squeeze to reassure her. "Don't let Griff get to you. He's mad at me." He told her softly before pulling her into the house. "Harleigh, I hope you don't mind sleeping on the couch." His mom said before going to the stove and stirring something... something that smelled awfulyl good. "Mama..."
"What?" She asked, looking at him. "Lucas Colt Turner, this is my house. You do as I say, do I make myself clear?" She asked, raising a brow. "Honey.. He's an adult now." His father chimed in. "See, pops is on my side." Colt said, looking at his mother. She sighed, looking at Harleigh once more. "Fine,"
Colt smiled, leaning in and planting a kiss to his mom's cheek. "Love you." He told her. "Whatcha cookin'?" He asked, looking into the pot. "You better." She laughed softly. "Gumbo, you're favorite." He smiled widely then before pulling Harleigh around the house. "C'mon," He smiled back at her. Jason came bounding down the stairs quickly, passing them by. "Where's the fire?" Colt asked, leaning over the railing. "No fire, just going for a run." Colt laughed then. "Have fun."
He looked back to Harleigh then. "C'mon, I want to show you my room, and then we'll take a nap, or... go swimming."

"Ya'll are being rude." He finally said aloud, looking around his brothers. "Like I care." Griffin chimed in, before disappearing into the house. His mama just sighed. "Well, come on inside."
Harleigh's eyes widened. Well, his brother really didn't like her. She let the harshness roll right off of her. She had other things to worry about....like why his mama did not seem to like her? She took a deep breath and put on her best charmer of a smile as they all began to walk inside the house. Colt grabbed her hand squeezing it softly.
"Don't let Griff get to you. He's mad at me."
With that she felt her smile loosen a bit as she relaxed. Atleast his brother, Griffin, wasn't mad at her...but still it must've been hard for Colt. To watch your brother show his hate towards you so openly. She felt her heart sink. She was sure he hadn't always hated Colt...and that it was a newfound feeling. She shook the thought. Family was family no matter what. You always loved your brother. It was habit.
Her attention immeadiately snapped back to his mama as soon as she spoke her name. "Harleigh, I hope you don't mind sleeping on the couch." Her faced heated up, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. She cleared her throat about to agree with her, but Colt began to speak. "Mama..." She queezed his hand, her eyes wide, warning him that she didn't mind, but then his mama spoke again.
"Fine,"
Harleigh watched the small argument instantly be solved with the last word by his mama. She had agreed to let Harleigh sleep in a bed. A bed she was sure was Colt's....with Colt, because Colt's father told her that Colt was an adult now. She couldn't help but smile. It was pure family. Something she wished she had some of at the moment. Colt let go of her hand to go over to his mother.
Colt smiled, leaning in and planting a kiss to his mom's cheek. "Love you." He told her. "Whatcha cookin'?" He asked, looking into the pot. "You better." She laughed softly. "Gumbo, you're favorite."
Sounded and smelled good, but she kept her mouth shut. She definently did not want his mama to assume she was sucking up. Southern women were hard to approach, and if you couldn't find solid ground with them...you would surely fall through any crack. Being pulled from her thoughts and the kitchen she followed Colt her hand in his a smile climbing across her face.
"C'mon," He smiled back at her. Jason came bounding down the stairs quickly, passing them by. "Where's the fire?" Colt asked, leaning over the railing. "No fire, just going for a run." Colt laughed then. "Have fun."
She stared at everything wide eyed as she found herself walking with him throughout the house. This house was insane. So many brothers...so much energy. She shook the thought as he turned to talk to her. "C'mon, I want to show you my room, and then we'll take a nap, or... go swimming."
Harleigh bit her lip and laughed. "Well how 'bout dat. I do get to see your room. I was real scared the only places I would see was the kitchen the living room, and the bathroom." She said a brow raised a scared look on her face referring to his mama not liking the face of Harleigh in Colt's room. "And as far as the choice between a nap or swimming keep in mind dawlin' I just slept for 'bout 13 hours straight. I rather go swimming." She smirked biting her lip. It was hot in this jeans and Mississippi was just as hot at Louisiana which meant swimming was always nice.

He could tell by the look on her face that she was taken aback by all the energy in the house. He smiled, laughing softly as he looked back at her. "You'll get use to it." He smirked. "Trust me." He told her as they walked down the hallway. Trevor was laying on his bed, playing a handheld game as they walked by his room. "Colt..." Colt stopped, looking into the room, raising a brow. "Y'know we're glad you're back and all, right?" Colt smiled softly. "Yeah, I know." He looked around the room. "Trev, this place is a disaster." He laughed. "I like it this way." Colt just laughed and shook his head as they moved on.
"Well how 'bout dat. I do get to see your room. I was real scared the only places I would see was the kitchen the living room, and the bathroom."
He grinned, wrapping an arm around her instead. "Nah, pops is always on my side. Mama, she's..." he wasn't quite sure what was up with his mother. She never acted like this before when meeting a girlfriend. "Don't worry." He tried to reassure her.
"And as far as the choice between a nap or swimming keep in mind dawlin' I just slept for 'bout 13 hours straight. I rather go swimming."
He laughed softly. "Yeah, you slept." He chimed in with a grin. "I need like, an hour of sleep." He smirked. "You can always lay with me or..." Or, go talk to my mama.. or my pops, or one of my crazy brothers. But none of that sounded good. "Y'know what," He said, pausing. "Swimming it is." He said as he pushed open his bedroom door.
"Home sweet home." He managed to spit out before lunging for the bed. Bouncing slightly he laughed, putting his hands behind his head and starring up at the stickers on the ceiling. "So.." He looked over at her. "What do you think?"

"You'll get use to it." He smirked. "Trust me."
Harleigh laughed. Of course he would be able to tell how she was feeling. He was just so...observant...and not to mention totally perfect for her. She smiled softly as she watched his encounter with one of his younger brothers. He really did love his family.
He grinned, wrapping an arm around her instead. "Nah, pops is always on my side. Mama, she's..." he wasn't quite sure what was up with his mother. She never acted like this before when meeting a girlfriend. "Don't worry." He tried to reassure her.
It felt so right being in his arms. She looked up at him though really listening to what he had to say. And when he finished she was almost scared. He was real hesistant about what he was saying. What if his mama really did hate her? She shook the thought praying that was not the case.
"Swimming it is."
She laughed softly. "What else was I supposed to do you were too busy racin' to get here." She grinned. She nodded he really did need some sleep he had just driven the whole way here in one night. Plus, she wouldn't mind relaxingin his arms for a bit, but he instantly shot the idea down because she said she wanted to swim, and she felt a little bad.
They finally made it to his room. She looked around giggling softly. It looked like it had gone through some changes over the years, but some things still stuck around from his childhood....like the stickers on the ceiling. It was comforting to know he was almost exactly like her. It was amazing and she knew her going on this trip with him would only bring them closer.
"Home sweet home." He lunged for the bed laying down his hands behind his head. She grinned making her way over to the bed. She plopped down on her stomach looking at him as he spoke. "So.." He looked over at her. "What do you think?" She layed a hand on his stomach. "It feels like a home. A very cozy southern home."
She said a genuine smile on her face. "Your family seems nice... I just feel like they might not like me." She said softly. She looked into his eyes her worry finally appearing on her face. "I don't want them to hate me." She bit her lip. She looked into his eyes studying and she saw how tired he looked she shook her head.
"Swimming can wait for a while. You need some sleep." She got up real quick and shut the light off. She smiled and threw herself onto the bed laying on her back her head on his chest. "Sleep for a bit you need it. Even guys need their beauty rest dawlin'."

"What else was I supposed to do you were too busy racin' to get here."
He laughed, turning his head to look at her as he laid there on the bed. "I don't know." He grinned then, watching as she sat down, laying on her stomach. "It feels like a home. A very cozy southern home." He smiled. "You mean a very crazy southern home." He laughed softly as Jason stuck his head in. Grabbing the pillow at the top of the bed he threw it at him, knocking him back. "HEY!" "Heys for horses." He grinned back.
"Your family seems nice... I just feel like they might not like me."
He was getting ready to comment on it, when Jason took over. "Griffin has something stuck up his ass. Pops is a nice guy, and Mama... well, she's mama. Trev is... my twin in every way... You'll see." He smiled. "Nice to have you home, Luke." Colt smiled. "Good to be home Jay."
"Swimming can wait for a while. You need some sleep."
He rolled on his side, grabbing the other pillow and throwing it at Jason again. "You hear that? Close the door, give me the pillows and leave me alone so I can sleep." Though he was giving an order, he smiled. "Yeah, yeah." Jason smirked, throwing the first pillow back and watching it bounce off Colt's head. "You fuck head." He laughed. Jason threw the other one, hitting the back of the bed post before closing the door and laughing.
"Sleep for a bit you need it. Even guys need their beauty rest dawlin'."
He smiled, wrapping an arm around her. "Long as you stay here with me."

"You mean a very crazy southern home."
Harleigh smiled softly. "Well dawlin' you said I would get used to it...and well I plan on it so... It won't be crazy for long." A different voice started speaking and her eyes trailed to the brother in the doorway. She grinned as he reassured her. "Well nice to know someone likes me." She grinned. "Maybe I'm with the wrong brother." She giggled and looked over at Colt. "Just kidding."
"You hear that? Close the door, give me the pillows and leave me alone so I can sleep."
Harleigh laughed. The pillow fight had begun and when the pillow hit Colt in his head she couldn't help but bust out laughing. Colt expressed some words and Harleigh gave Jason a thumbs up as he shut the door. "I like that brother. He's funny." She grinned.
When the door was shut and she had a chance to breathe she leaned up and looked at Colt's smile as he wrapped his arm around her. "Long as you stay here with me." She leaned forward and kissed him softly. "I wouldn't dare go anywhere else." She grinned.

"I like that brother. He's funny." She leaned forward and kissed him softly. "I wouldn't dare go anywhere else."
One hour slipped into two, and two multiplied to four. His eyes slid open, looking around his darkened room. He knew Harleigh was next to him, he could feel her breathing. Taking in a deep breath, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes before looking at the clock.
The sun was setting, and even upstairs he could smell his moms gumbo cooking. His stomach growled softly, as he rolled over. His arm wrapped around Harleigh, as he dug his face into her neck giving it a kiss. "Time to wake up." He whispered softly.
Just as soon as the words left his mouth, Griffin threw the door open. "Dinner is done. Come and eat." Colt furrowed his brows, grabbing his pillow and throwing it at his younger brother. "What ever is up your ass and has to do with me. Better fucking quit right now. I'm done, Griff. You here me?" He glared, watching as Griffin walked away silently.
"Jesus." He sighed, looking back to Harleigh. "I'm sorry. Welcome to the Turner havoc."

She didn't know how many hours had passed when they were asleep, nor did she care. She felt his body next to hers, and could feel their breathing completely in sync. That was enough to keep her laying there for many more hours to come, but just as the thought passed her mind she felt him shift next to her throwing his arm around her and pressing his face into her neck kissing it softly before whispering to her. "Time to wake up." It was funny how just the sound of his sweet mississippi accent could send chills down her spine. Harleigh smiled and shifted sideways pressing herself against him, her eyes still closed. "Five more minutes." She breathed out softly between her smiling lips, but just as she laid her head on his chest the door to his room came banging open. She opened her eyes surprised. "Dinner is done. Come and eat." Sitting up she smiled and nodded to the brother, Griffin she thought it was, who obviously had no care for her being there at all. Colt threw a pillow at him, and at first she thought he was playing, all until he opened his mouth and spoke. "What ever is up your ass and has to do with me. Better fucking quit right now. I'm done, Griff. You here me?" With one hand rubbing the four hour nap from her eyes and the other reaching for Colt's she looked over at him concerned. "He'll loosen up. I'm sure of it. No one can stay mad at ya for long. I know I can't." He looked mad and stressed when he looked back at her, which only made her smile more. "Jesus." He sighed, looking back to Harleigh. "I'm sorry. Welcome to the Turner havoc." "Dawhlin' you forget that I have a family just as bad as yours." She giggled and stood up tilting her head upward and sniffing. "That gumbo smells great. Imma change real quick into something more presentable in front of ya momma." She unzipped her suitcase and grabbed her little yellow dress, brown belt, and her cowgirl boots. She turned around and looked at Colt raising a brow. "You just gonna sit there while I change?" She tsk'ed her finger at him before slidding out of her crop top. "Ain't nothin' you ain't seen before, am I right?" She giggled and slipped the dress on over her head. Shimming out of her pants, she shoved her feet in her boots. "All done...." She did a small twril catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror. "Maybe I should brush my hair. It looks a little incriminating." She grabbed a brsh from her bag and ran it through her gold locks a few times. "How do I look?"

"He'll loosen up. I'm sure of it. No one can stay mad at ya for long. I know I can't."
He smiled softly, his eyes closing. "I know why he's mad. I get it." He sighed. "Dawhlin' you forget that I have a family just as bad as yours." He grinned, looking back at her. "Oh yeah? How many siblings you got?"
"That gumbo smells great. Imma change real quick into something more presentable in front of ya momma."
"Good idea." He groaned, rolling off the bed to his feet and heading to his dresser. He slowed up in just shorts earlier. Time to put on some decent clothes. Pulling out a shirt and jeans, he quickly put it on.
"You just gonna sit there while I change?" She tsk'ed her finger at him before slidding out of her crop top. "Ain't nothin' you ain't seen before, am I right?"
He looked back as he got his shirt on. "Somethin' like that." He grinned. It was then that he slipped out and headed to the bathroom. The moment he walked back in he smiled as she spoke "How do I look?"
"Beautiful. Gorgeous. Delicate... Must I go on?" He teased with a kiss to her lips as hsis hand took hers. "Ready?" As she nodded, he lead them both down the stairs where the family had all come together around the kitchen table. "Smells great mama." He said softly as he walked Harleigh to an open chair, pulling it out for her.

"I know why he's mad. I get it."
Harleigh smiled a sly smile. "Then you know that he'll get over it one day. Just give him time." She couldn't help but love his family already. Sure, they were very scary, but she could tell they all loved one another. It made her miss her family...and seeing the way Colt's brother acted ade her miss her little brother. He was getting older now she wondered about him alot.
"Oh yeah? How many siblings you got?"
She smirked. "Well, I only have one little brother, but most of the pack members lived with me and my family so ya can say they were just as annoying as siblings." Shaking her head just thinking about her house full of werewolves. They were a handful most of the time, but they were her family and she loved them.
"Good idea."
"What can I say. I'm a genius." She giggled. She twirled around as she began to get dressed. She was so happy to be out of the city, ad to be in the country... it was just a double win. "Somethin' like that." She let out a playful growl as he slipped out of his room and to the bathroom. By the time he came back she was done changing.
"Beautiful. Gorgeous. Delicate... Must I go on?"
Licking her lips she gave a bright smile. "It wouldn't hurt." She joked. "Ready?" her smile faded a bit. "I'm a little nervous." She took his hand and he lead them down the stairs and to the full kitchen table. "Smells great mama." Harleigh nodded as she sat down in the seat Colt pulled out for her. "It really does smell amazin'." Harleigh spoke feeling nervous as her cajun accent flowed out a bit.
