"Well." He paused, getting himself ready mentally. "I could always tackle you." Just as the words left his mouth he ran over and lifted her up, careful not to spill the beer and quickly grabbed it from her hands and took a swig. "Mmm, so good."
Harleigh laughed as he picked her up making sure he didn't spill her beer. It wasn't long before he grabbed it from her hands and took a sip of his own. She raised a brow smiling. "Well... a strong and a cocky man." She paused. "Wonder how I happen to come upon ya." She giggled as he sat her down. She reached for her beer, but he kept it to himself.
She scoffed smiling her eyes on him. She tried to grab it again, but he just raised it higher. She raised a brow laughing. "Now, you can't get it." He grinned. "Unless..." He turned his head to the side, pointing at his cheek. "Lay one on me."
Leaning forward she giggled. "Well if that's the price I have to pay." She smirked. She leaned forward and kissed his cheek with a peck softly. She retracted slowly looking at him in the eyes. She smiled. "Now do I get it back?" She asked looking innocent and coy.
She felt something wet hit her head. She looked up in time to see rain drops falling down. She laughed and shook her head. "Go figure it's going to come and rain on my parade." She smiled looking back over to him. "But I guess a storm isn't a storm until you play in the rain." She smirked. "Cause where I come from. Rain is a good thing!" She sung out the words as she grabbed his hand.
"You may have played in the rain when you were younger, but you haven't experienced it until you have played with me in the rain." She smiled softly running out into a open spot in grass where only a few trees stood. She stood there looking at him her hands on her hips as the rain fell down a little harder.

"Well... a strong and a cocky man." She paused. "Wonder how I happen to come upon ya."
"Good luck? Fate? Destiny?" He teased with a grin, moving his hand higher in the air as she tried repeatedly to grab for it. "Uh uh." he laughed. "Well if that's the price I have to pay." She kissed his cheek and he smirked.
"Now do I get it back?"
His initial plan was to get her wet with the beer. Not to pour the whole thing, but just to get her with it. But, it seemed the rain was already taking care of that. "Shit." He cursed, laughing softly.
"But I guess a storm isn't a storm until you play in the rain."
He smirked, shrugging a shoulder as he passed her the beer. "I guess." He replied softly. "You may have played in the rain when you were younger, but you haven't experienced it until you have played with me in the rain." He watched her run out to an area and stop, a soft laugh escaping him as the clouds opened and the rain started to come down even harder.
Quickly grabbing the bag with the beer and cigs he jogged over to where she was, placing the bag closer to the trunk of the tree where it wouldn't get wet. "I'm aguy, honey. I don't play in the rain. I play in the mud."

"Good luck? Fate? Destiny?"
Harleigh laughed. "You wish!" She grinned. That's what it felt like though. Fate....Destiny....and a hell of a lot of good luck. The rain was just another catch of fate. She laughed as he grabbed the bag of 'goodies' and ran over towards her sticking it under a tree saving the things from the rain.
Grinning she listened to him talk. His voice already sending her over the edge. He was oh so gorgeous. She smirked twirling around in the rain. "I'm a guy, honey. I don't play in the rain. I play in the mud."
Laughing she raised a brow stopping right in front of him. "Oh really you do?" She slipped off her jacket throwing it somewhere near the tree. She bent down towards a already forming puddle of mud. She scooped up a handful. She raised a brow. "Shirt on or off when I release fire?" She laughed softly.
She shook her head. "I was taking about you...not me... My shirt's staying on." She smiled. The more she talked the more the mud slipped from her hands. She sighed looking down at the mud dripping all down her leg from her hand. "Looks like I'm going to need a shower later." She laughed. "Sooo play in the mud boy I didn't get all dirty for you to just look at me."
Taking her index finger she wiped a line of mud on his cheek. "It really does suit you well." She laughed and backed up a few steps so she had a little distance just in case he was thinking about throwing some mud her way.

"Oh really you do? Shirt on or off when I release fire?"
Laughing, he held up a hand. "Wait, wait." He chuckled, grabbing his already wt shirt and tearing it from his chest before sitting it in the bag. "You sure you want to do this?" He smirked, raising a brow at her.
"I was taking about you...not me... My shirt's staying on. Looks like I'm going to need a shower later. Sooo play in the mud boy I didn't get all dirty for you to just look at me." p.i[
Laughing, he nodded. "Right." He watched as the mud dripped from her hands down to her legs. "Ya might." He chuckled. As she egged him on to play in the mud, he chuckled. "I said I played. Didn't say I would play now." He pointed out with a smile.
"It really does suit you well."
Lips pursed, his eyes caught hers as the mud began to harden on his cheek. "Yer gonna pay for that." With that said, he ran towards her, throwing her up and over his shoulder just like before.
He wasn't going to slam her into the mud, though that's what he'd be doing to his brothers right now. Instead, he saw a large strip of mud ahead of them. Taking off at a running pace, his shoes his the slick mud, sending them sliding across before falling on his backside.
He laughed out loud, turning and grabbing a handful of mud and smacking it on her back. "How's that feel? Is it coolin' you off darlin'?" He chuckled, as he squirmed to get to his feet. But with every attempt, he fell back on his ass. Which only made him laugh harder.

"Wait, wait." He chuckled, grabbing his already wt shirt and tearing it from his chest before sitting it in the bag. "You sure you want to do this?" He smirked, raising a brow at her.
Harleigh smirked raising a brow right back at him. "Very much so. I ain't scared cowboy." She laughed softly. She tried to steady herself as she slid a little more in the mud. She stood there staring at him and his now bare chest. She bit her lower lip. "Y'know ya don't look half bad without a shirt on." She grinned softly. "But you would look so much better with some..." She leaned down and picked up some mud.
Running at him she started laughing. "Mud." She grinned softly rubbing her muddy filled hand down his chest. She stood up slipping a few steps away from him. "You don't feel half bad either." She grinned. "Right." He watched as the mud dripped from her hands down to her legs. "Ya might." He chuckled. As she egged him on to play in the mud, he chuckled. "I said I played. Didn't say I would play now."
She grinned softly standing there her hair soaked to her face. Her clothes clinging to her body. She was struggling to stand as she kept a smile on her face. "I might need like an hour shower after this. Not like my car has one though." She said sarcastically with a grin. "Yeah, but you don't have much of a choice now." She giggled pointing to his chest.
"Yer gonna pay for that."
She screamed, but not loud, as he ran towards her. Before she could move he picked her up like he before. She laughed loud crying out for him to let her down. "I'll do anything." She said laughing knowing they were sure to fall. As soon as she thought it thats what happened.
They both fell and landed on their butts. Before she could turn around to laugh at him he was smearing mud down her back. She stood up digging her heels in the mud so she could stand. ""How's that feel? Is it coolin' you off darlin'?"
She smirked at him. "Yeah real cool." She grinned she shed her shirt throwing it somewhere off to the side, not caring where considering it was drenched in mud. She watched him continue to attempt to stand. She laughed offering a hand. "Looks like your having trouble." She grinned trying to hold her ground.

"Yeah real cool."
He turned, laughing continuously. Grabbing a hand full of mud, he slung it at her, head rolling back and laughing. He tried again to get up, and again failed miserable. But this time instead of landed on his ass, he managed to slid sideways into the mudd.
"Looks like your having trouble."
She made it look so easy. Laughing, he grabbed her hand and slowly started growing to his feet. halfway there, he could feel the ground shifting. Eyes widened, he let out a chuckle right before they both went sliding across the muddy grass. Harleigh right on top of him.
As they stopped, he continued to laugh. "I think we're stuck."

He was almost standing before they both fell sliding in the mud. Harleigh right on top of him. She giggled as they slid for a few seconds before coming to a stop. She laughed looking at him straight in the eyes. "I think we're stuck."
Laughing she bit at her lip. "I belive we are." She didn't move...even though she was sure she could stand up she let herself enjoy the fact that she was laying on top of a very handsome were. She leaned forward kissing him gently her eyes closing. She pulled away slowly looking at him while her soaking wet hair dripped all over him. "I don't think i'm complaining though."
She layed there for a moment before she noticed the rain had actually stopped she cocked her head to the side and smirked at him. "Looks like the rain stopped." She stood up and looked down at herself. She was covered with mud from head to toe. "I'm really dirty." She shook her head. "Not like that." She laughed.
Harleigh held out her hand smiling. "C'mon Dawlin' I think it may be easier to get up since it's not rainin' anymore....Though I don't know you did fall quite alot tryin' to get up earlier." She giggled softly offering out her hand.

"I belive we are. I don't think I'm complaining though."
He smirked, watching a moment as she leaned down and kissed him. Eyes fluttering closed, his arms wrapped around her. A second later (it felt like it), she was pulling away and climbing to her feet talking about the rain had stopped.
He just laid there, listening as he looked up into the sky. Sure, he knew he was muddier then all get out. But a shower could wait, he was enjoying himself for once in New York. "I'm really dirty." She shook her head. "Not like that." He laughed softly, looking up at her. "I see that."
"C'mon Dawlin' I think it may be easier to get up since it's not rainin' anymore....Though I don't know you did fall quite alot tryin' to get up earlier."
As she handed him her hand. He smiled, grabbing it. But instead of getting up, he pulled her back down into the mud. Smiling, he looked back at her as he got to his feet. "Payback." He grinned. "Told ya you'd regret it." He chuckled, offering her a hand, seeting his feet firm in the one area that hadn't turned to mush.
Just in case she would try something slick.

Harleigh smiled at him as he took her hand, but before she knew it she was back in the mud. She shook her head laughing in the mud. She sat there a moment. "Payback." He grinned. "Told ya you'd regret it." She raised a brow at him. "I guess I deserve that." She looked at his hand as he offered to help her back up.
She just looked at his hand as she made sure to stick both of her hands in the mud. She stood up quick and grabbed his face in both hands and kissed him hard and deep. When she pulled away finally she was breathing heavy. "You can take that as either payback or a present." She paused walking over to the tree where he sat the stuff earlier. "I think I'm fine with whichever you chose." She smirked.
Bending over she picked up her jacket that was only a little damp from the drops that had made it through the tree leaves. She slipped it on over her bra. She shivered a little. "Didn't know someone like me could get so cold." She smiled. Leaning down she took a beer from the pack and popped it open. Taking a drink she wondered how this night would end. She was sure he would bid her goodbye and they may or may not see each other again...but that's not what she wanted.
If Harleigh was going to stay in New York she wanted to spend her time with Colt. He was the most amazing guy she had ever met, and she did not want to let him slip through her wet muddy fingers. Shaking the thought she looked over at him. "So what's next. We have pretty much covered every part of ourselves with mud..." She giggled softly. Sure, she never liked to just sit and talk about themselves, but she could see herself pouring out her mind and heart to Colt.
Though she was sure he would just look at her like she was crazy. She looked up the sky for a moment trying to determine the time. Probably somewhere along the lines of 11:30. She sighed taking a sip of her beer. The day was almost over. She didn't want to leave. She never wanted this day to end. It was too much fun, and she was sure he didn't either. This is what people that just met do....run around kissing in the rain and mud.
Okay so that's not what people who just met do. But two people who are very far from home who love country and drinking beer....well that's what they do. Harleigh didn't care what anyone would have told her right now not even her mamma. She was having fun and she was almost too scared to ask if she was dreaming.

"I guess I deserve that."
He nodded. "Mhm." He chuckled softly, helping her up. But not a second later she placed those muddy hands on his face and kissed him hard and deeply. Nearly lost his breath, before she pulled away.
"You can take that as either payback or a present."
He laughed softly, shaking his head as he followed her over to the tree. His hands were dry enough to grab one last cigarette. "I'd say a present. To sweet to be revenge. Though, they say revenge is sweet." He shrugged it off.
"So what's next. We have pretty much covered every part of ourselves with mud..."
His eyes locked with hers as he lit his cigarette. "Well, showers. Obviously." He chuckled. "I got a motel down the street from here we can head to." He offered. "Since your car ain't got no shower and all." He grinned.

"I'd say a present. To sweet to be revenge. Though, they say revenge is sweet."
Harleigh rolled her eyes grinning. "I would say my revenge is sweet. Though I think my lips are sweeter." She giggled softly. Teasing and playing was one of the things she was best at. Though deep down she wanted to kiss him without it seeming like a joke. He was the real deal to her, but she kept playing it off as a tease.
Shaking the thought she listened to his suggestion for what they should do next. "Well, showers. Obviously." He chuckled. "I got a motel down the street from here we can head to." He offered. "Since your car ain't got no shower and all." He grinned.
She smirked raising both brows. "Was this all part of you r plan t get me back to your motel tonight.." She giggled. "Kidding." She smiled lwaning on the tree, exhausted. "I would love to take a shower." She sat her beer down and ran over to the place she threw her t-shirt grabbing it with two fingers.
"Wow...this shirt is practically ruined." She smiled. "Guess I'm not wearing a shirt...I hope no cops come around thinking I'm a prostitute." She laughed though it wasn't funny...she kind of did look like a prostitute. "Alright so to your motel it is." She grabbed her beer and picked tup the bag handing it to him.
"Lead the way, Sandal wood." She smirked at the nickname though she was sure it wasn't a nickname that would stick. She liked Colt too much to call him anything else. Before they started walkign she too one last look at her clothes. "Do you have like a shirt and so shorts I could borrow....atleast until my clothes wash in the motels laundry room?" She paused. "It does have laundry room...right?" She asked her eyes wide, but a smile still playing on her lips.

He smirked, shaking his head as he started off. She was talking about her lips being sweeter than revenge. Though, he had to agree, but he wasn't going to tell her that. She seemed to love to tease and joke around. But then, he wondered if she could ever just be... normal? It wasn't the word he was quite looking for. But it worked in it's own little ways. He wanted a girl who could stand by his side through thick and thin. One who knew there was a time to tease, and time to be serious.
He continued to laugh as she continued to talk in a teasing way. "Yes, all of my master plan." He smirked, looking towards her as she mentioned her shirt was ruined. "b[]Hey, you started it.[/b]" He pointed out.
"Do you have like a shirt and some shorts I could borrow....atleast until my clothes wash in the motels laundry room?" She paused. "It does have laundry room...right?"
He laughed out loud. "Yes, it has a laundry room." He paused, looking over at her. "And, I suppose I could give you something to wear." He smiled. The motel wasn't far from the park, only a few blocks so it didn't take long for them to get there.
As they walked towards his room, he got out his room-key and slid it through the door and opened it wide. "Welcome to my humble abode." He chuckled, throwing the bag on the bed. "Showers in there." He pointed. "I think since the mud on me is completely dry, I'll wait till your done." He smiled, walking over to his suitcase and popping it open. Throwing her a large A&E shirt and some cargo shorts. "There ya go."
