detailed personality, Robin is a rather peculiar man. He's not particularly normal when the time calls for it. Spending most of his time alone has made him somewhat strange. He's not very tidy with anything, including his appearance. However, one could assume Robin to be a bit anti-social. But he's not; at least, not in the direct sense. He likes being alone with himself. It gives him time to think. Large crowds make him nervous or grouchy; well, as long as he happens to be standing in them.
He doesn't strive to make friends much but he does have some. His best friend is a squirrel named after a former love. He enjoys solving difficult problems and puzzles, which is why he fancies women so much. Women always seem to have problems, or they are one themselves. Irene, his former love, was rather problematic indeed. Robin tries his best to be polite, but sometimes, he can be just rude. His uncanny ability to decipher people just by looking at them tends to get in the way of being nice. With that, comes his habit of being slightly nosy.
Robin has always liked costumes and disguises, thus why he's seen wearing eccentric pieces of clothing. He takes great pride in his accent; especially for the fact it's a rather attractive accent. He relies mostly on the people around him to amuse him, and ends up going quite insane if alone too long. Which contributes to his increasingly bizarre, risky schemes and stunts. Robin refuses to please most authoritative figures. Commitment still stands as his biggest fear, yet one of his possibly deepest desires. He doesn't want to be tied down by one person, but he doesn't want to be alone. Mostly the only thing that can control him is his drinks and unsolved problems.

detailed history, Oldest of the Hoodes, Robin was pretty different since the day he was born. He didn't talk to often to when he was young unless one could get him going on a particular topic. The Hoodes' House always seemed to be busy with children running about. Being they were all only one year or so apart from each other, there seemed to be constant little spats. Robin tried his best to get out of the way. His mother tended to coddle him the most and often let him go wherever he pleased. So he wasn't often at home.
As he grew, he developed an unnatural intelligence. It was his way of proving that he was better than what his family thought he was. Thus, he obtained as much knowledge as he could about most things so that he had some talent that separated him from most people. By that time he was already flattering the ladies with his rather refined speech and charming ways. Over time, Robin gained a small amount of friends but nothing more than that. He wasn't really interested in gaining a relationship with any women. Finally, he made a move and he thought he had won.
That was when he met her; Irene Amber Huntington. Something about the beautifully sly woman just got him hooked. But the next morning, she was gone. She was always gone when he woke up. He learned that seven times before he woke up and never saw her again. Soon after that, he tended to stimulate his mind with a large amount of drinks from time to time.
