Sargon had been mulling things over. The meeting with Am and her husband and kids had been disastrous, and he felt sort of bad about it. Okay, he felt really bad about it. But he couldn't just go up to their house again--he didn't feel like being attacked by another foam sword, and he knew he probably wouldn't even be let in. He wanted to talk to Am, but he knew her husband was really the one he needed to apologize to.
So he had waited outside of their house until Sai had left it, and he had shadowed him, following him. Now Sai had stopped, and, taking a deep breath, Sarge walked up to him, clearing his throat slightly to announce his presence. "Sai..' he said quietly, sort of pleadingly. He wanted to be in his sister's life; but he knew that wouldn't happen if her husband was determined to hate him.

[/url] From the moment Saikoro stepped out of the house, he knew that Sargon was following him. Who wouldn't? Well, it didn't matter. He didn't want to waste his time. Besides, he had to concentrate if he desired to get to the right place blind. When he had actually heard his name, he shook his head and continued walking, not even looking back. He stopped at a lamp post, putting a hand against it. Yes, this was the right post. Saikoro then crossed the street and walked into an alley way for a shortcut. Sargon displeased Saikoro. The only thing he had done was make him angry so Amarie found him sexy. That was the only benefit of Sargon's first visit. Not to mention, Amarie had later told Sai to stay away from Rosewood. It was times like this that it helped to not be able to see people giving you rude faces. Saikoro figured Sarge probably spread some rather distasteful rumors. Typical.

Why must he hate him? Angrily, Sargon folllowed him across the street, intent on getting his attention and keeping it, even if it meant using a bit of violence. God knew Sarge sort of wanted to beat up Sai. Who woulnt want some revenge after being humiliated by being thrown into a wall, punched in the face, and thrown out a window? And in front of his sister and nephews and neices, too!
"Come on, man," Sarge said slightly angrily, following Sai into the alley somewhat hesitantly. And to show that he meant it an that he better not be ignored again, Sarge thwacked him in the back of the head. Really, though, it was downright rude to just ignore someone!

Saikoro had his hand on the wall as he walked, peacefully. It was of course his gloved right hand which made it quite suspicious. But the moment he was whacked, he turned sharply and that gloved hand gripped around Sargon's neck. From the victim's standpoint, one would be able to tell that there was not a human hand beneath the glove; it just had to be...machinery. Not to mention, his grip was even stronger than the average human's grip. Sai glared darkly at Sargon, his eyes looking like normal eyes.
"What do you want, you annoying little pest?!?" He growled darkly. He did not want to play these games right now.

Good. He was turning around. But then... He gasped quietly as that weird gloved hand grabbed around his neck. It was too strong; was that really a human hand in there? It didn't feel like it at all... It felt almost... Mechanical
He glared back coolly at Sai's glare. He was sort of a creep. Ainslie had and he had been right; there was something a little off with him. She also seemed to have kinda been right about him disliking most people. "Actually," he statrted, his voice ice cold, "I was coming to sort of apologize. You know, maybe I could try again? A second chance?" He sounded sort of pleading, but it didn't matter. "Let me go," he commanded somehwat sourly, despising the fact that Sai was rather stronger than he. But still, Sarge put one of his hands up to the one around his neck and gripped hard at the wrist, trying to twist the hand away from him.

Saikoro raised a brow, looking quite surprised except for the fact that his eyes showed no emotion. He let go of Sargon and then turned, putting his hand on the wall to make sure he didn't lose his way. He then began walking slowly. "Second chances are for the weak." He snorted rudely and then turned around the alleyway corner. "Besides, I have to concentrate...or I'll get lost again."
He stopped at a sign, which he held onto to check were he was. He wished he could train Bernie to be a blind aid dog. That would be useful. He sighed and then listened to the sounds, even breathed in some of the air smell. He then turned around. "You're still following me, aren't you?"

He humphed as Sai let him go, and then narrowed his eyes as he just began to walk away. Why couldn't he give him a second chance?! "Geez man, I know I fucked up at first, but I mean, seriously, I've been living alone for years. My people and children skills were a bit rusty. Anyway, it couldn't have been that bad, right?"
"Why would you get lost?" he asked, confused. And how would holdig onto the wall help him? "And, uh, yeah, Im still following you..." Was there something up with this man?!

"It was bad. The worst I've seen. I'm sure even Bellatrix would have better behavior around children than you." He snapped and then continued walking. He knew Sargon wouldn't know who that was, but that didn't matter anyway. The moment he heard Sargon's second words, he froze. Sai turned around with both brows raised in shock.
With a sigh, he looked off into the distance. "If you haven't noticed already, I'm blind." Saikoro's voice had a slightly irritable tone in it right there. But he couldn't believe Sargon hadn't noticed that. It was pretty obvious wasn't it? Sai didn't know that it wasn't. After all, he had been blind long enough to act just as normal as other people....possibly even more normal than normal people.

"Who's she?" he asked curiously. He had never run into a woman named Bellatrix before. But it seemed Sai meant to say he was worse than her, which must've meant she was pretty bad, but whatever. He was sure he hadn't been all that bad. "But really, I'm Amarie's brother--I need to at least get a second chance! I haven't seen her for about fifteen years, and I'm not about to let you and your stubborness stand in the way of me and her." His words were intense, and he meant them.
"Blind? Really? You... Don't seem like it." Really, he didn't seem blind. He seemed normal. Not that blind people weren't normal, but... He just didn't look blind. "If you don't mind me asking, how did you get blind? Or were you... Always blind?" It was a sort of awkward question, but he was sort of curious. Maybe that was why Am had married him... Pity?

"Someone you don't want to meet." Saikoro stated plainly and then crossed the street again. They were now going down another alleyway except it was a tunnel. "Four months....I tried to get something from her....and I wasn't strong enough. She blinded me with her psionic blast torture." Sai didn't want to talk about this right now. He wasn't even gonna mention the thing that he had been after. It shouldn't have mattered to Sargon anyway. It was none of his business.
"You think I can trust you around my children? No. You don't act, look, or even smell like a trustworthy person. Yes, I've seen you. I saw two seconds of your face and that's all I needed." He said.q

What? So Sai was fighting her or something? And if Sarge 'didn't want to meet jer' that meant she was dangerous. Which meant Sai shouldn't be around her either! "If she's someone I don't wanna meet, why do you know her? If she tortures you, you should stay away. You've got a wife, kids--what if next time or whatever, she kills you?!" Sarge wasn't concerned for Sai, no. But he knew that if he did die, Amarie would be devastated. How could he risk that?
"Judging people is a bad thing to do," said Sarge quietly. Sai had already made himself an enemy--all Sarge wanted was a second chance! "Why do you dislike me? It can't be for that accuser with your kids--people DO make mistakes." He glared at Sai, although knowing he couldn't see it.

Saikoro shook his head and then stated, "I was doing it to protect my family." That was all he said though. When he heard Sargon continue, he snorted with pity. "I've been judged all my life. Why should I give the world any more chances? I vowed to never let my guard down. Besides, you're the one spreading rumors about me at your new job, aren't you? Yeah, I knew it. Am advised me not to go to Rosewood anytime soon because of it. "
He had heard many things. "But I wonder...did you ever say what you said in front of the children? No. Because you think you did nothing wrong. It's common sense that you don't cuss around four year olds!" It really was. It was like....no one would sell drugs to a five year old.....it was obvious.

Ooh, what a manly man. Protecting his family. Pssht. More like cheating on his wife with some whore. Though Sarge sure as hell didn't say that. He didn't want to be chucked into another wall or anything. But he couldn't stop himself from thinking it. "I wonder why you've been judged. Maybe it's because you've been known to be a loon?" Well, he had heard so from a few people he had talked to. "No, I was not spreading rumors. Just... Talking to people," he said somehwat shiftily.
"Not like they'll remember it! And anyway, I hasn't interacted with kids in years, I had sort of forgotten about how protective their parents can be." He knew arguing with Sai wouldn't help, as he was currently in the wrong and he knew it, but this guy just made Sarge sort of mad. He just didn't like him, for whatever reason.

Saikoro looked back at him, his face looking sort of....hurt. It showed Sai's weakness; his infamously low self-esteem. He let out a frustrated sigh and swallowed hard. "Right....they still keep that going don't they? SEE? That is why we're moving to the country! Then they can be happy and stop.....stop.." His voice choked and he punched a lamppost, denting it.
He was just so tired of insults and teasing. No one ever seemed to lay up on him. It was times like these that Saikoro felt himself standing on the edge of that building in his mind, only two steps away from freedom. The world had a problem with him. It was not the other way around. Sai remained silent after that as he neared the grocery store.

He felt sort of bad at seeing the look upon Sai's face, but then he ignored it. Sai was crazy, though. "Wait... You're moving?" he questioned suddenly. He had finally managed to get ahold of Am's address, and now they were moving?! His luck couldntget any worse, could it? He watched Sai dent the pole. "Dude. It's not that bad. Can't you just ignore it? Don't go all emo." Sarge raised his eyebrows at Sai. There was so many things wrong wth this man.
"Anyway, you've got more than quite a few people." he said lamely, trying to ease his guilt by making Sai feel better. "You got a pretty girl, six kids, what else could you want?" He shrugged, even daring to say, "Maybe everyone's... Jealous? I mean, what could you hve done to be seen like such a crazy guy?" Obviously, Sarge never heard the foundations of the rumors that cocerned Sai.

"Yes, we're moving and it IS bad. It has been bad ever since.....ever since..." Saikoro sighed and then shook his thoughts away. He clenched his fist a bit before turning to face Sargon. "No one. Not even you. Absolutely no one knows what I've been through. Go ahead and spread your damn rumors. It won't get you any closer to your sister, that's for sure." What an insensitive man, eh Saiky? Saying rude things about a blind man.....it's just terrible. You should just get rid of him Sai. Just destroy him. Right here. Go on. I know you want to. The words he heard in his head caused him to groan with frustration. "Damn it, Azrael! Would you just give me one second to think?!"He snapped and then groaned again.
What more could he want? That was easy. "My son." Saikoro stated softly. "That's what more I want. My son that doesn't even know who his real father is." He let out a deep sigh and then heard Sargon's last words. He chuckled and then shrugged, "Oh I don't know, perhaps....attempted to jump off a skyscraper building? Survived two boxes of rat poison? Or maybe, supposedly kidnapped my son?" He suggested and then began to rant. "Of course, I did not kidnap him. I simply borrowed him. I wanted to see my son. For once, I wanted to be the one who tucked him in and read him a story. I wanted to be the one who was there to greet him in the morning. But most of all, I just wanted to take him to the zoo. But with as trustworthy as Emma is, I'm sure didn't mention any of those things to her friends. I'm sure she said that I was some reckless, unsafe man who was unfit to be a father. I'm sure that's where the rumors came from."

Sarge was sorta confused. This man did seem pretty... unstable. He also seemed to be fighting some inner battle. Which ended in him talking to someone who wasn't there. Sort of curious, Sarge asked, "Uh, who is 'Azrael'?"
His... son? But couldn't he just go back home and be with his son and wife? After all, it wasn't that hard. Did he need to be out right now? Wait.. what? "Wait.. your... son?" He was confused now. And then when Sai started ranting, he just got even more confused. "Emma?"
And then it hit him. Ainslie had said something about Amarie and Emma being friends or something. ''Well apparently you aren't 'reckless, unsafe and unfit to be a father,' because you have a wife and six kids that you should be happy with."

"Azrael is none of your business." Saikoro snapped almost immediately. He didn't appear very happy about that question at all. As for Sargon's compliment(if one could call it a compliment), it didn't cheer him up either.
He glared and then said, "I am happy with them. I never said I wasn't. But that's really besides the point." He turned away. "You're wasting your time. Amarie doesn't even know who you are and probably doesn't trust you. We don't need more tricks. Go back from wherever you came from before you cause more trouble than you can handle."

Whoa, this dude did not seem to be happy. "Um, who woke up on the wrong side of the bed today?" he asked, in a sort of apologetic tone. He didn't know that that subject was a bit... touchy for Sai. He was curious. Duh, if you presented someone with a statement like that about something they didn't know about, they were gonna ask, right?
"You don't seem happy," Sargon said, looking skeptically at the man. And he didn't look all too happy--sure, he looked... happy. But not happy-happy. Not Sarge's kind of happy. "She does too know who I am. Even if she just... doesn't remember me fully yet." He said, sort of dejectedly. It wasn't his fault that he had ran away before his sister was old enough to remember anything about him. "I'm the one causing trouble? You're the one who like, threw me out of your house with some creepy power!" he snapped.
