"I can see that, bigger than nickleback and the rest of them combined."
"Fuck yes," Essence stated emphatically. "Way bigger than all those posers!" She laughed lightly, resting her forehead against his. She was getting excited about this now. She was still scared, a little. But not as much as before; nowhere near that. He had reassured her entirely. Now she could just enjoy the moment.
"Guess that's my cue to get up--get dressed-- and take you out to eat." She kissed him back easily, but pouted when he mentioned getting up. She curled close to him, not wanting to move. But then her stomach rumbled as well and she laughed. "Yeah, guess so."
"Mmm.. gotta get dressed."
"Speak for yourself," she said with a smirk. "I had to sneak out early to buy a pregnancy test, so I'm already dressed." She slipped off his lap, albeit reluctantly and pulled him to stand. "Go, go," she urged him, smacking his butt lightly.

He laughed softly, shaking his head as he popped in his demo CD and pushed play. Singing along softly, he quickly cleaned himself up and got dressed. Checking himself in the mirror, he brushed his teeth and smoothed over his hair with some water. Stupid curls.." Hey baby, you know this kid might have curly hair right?" He shouted out to her. He laughed softly, shaking his head as he remembered all his bad hairstyles. He was justified in cutting it all off, much easier to deal with. Jogging slightly back to the living room, he smiled, seeing her standing there. He quickly scooped her up, spinning her around a.s he sang softly. " Hop in the car and go with me, you don't have to pack everything. Don't you wanna feel the breeze, and forget everything, baby?" He laid a kiss to her cheek. " You ready?"

"Hey baby, you know this kid might have curly hair right?"
Flopping back down on the couch, Essence chuckled, toying with her own blonde strands. She loved his short curls; they would be the cutest thing on a kid."Awwww," she drawled, dragging it out. "That would friggin' adorable." She could already see it; their little baby.
Hearing him making his way back to the front room, Essence rose and unzipped her hoodie. She held tight to him as he suddenly lifted her into his arms. Smiling happily, she sang the chorus back to him. Accepting the kiss to her cheek, she turned, setting a leisurely kiss to his lips.
"You ready?"
"Mhm," she hummed out, letting her feet drop to the floor. Keeping her arms around his waist, she asked, "Where to?"

He stood there, holding her close a moment as he thought. "Hmm.." He paused. "I don't know, what are you hungry for?" He smirked. "Besides me." He chuckled softly, leaning in and kissing her softly.
"We could head out to the diner down the block or... we could grab something quick at Starbucks." He shrugged. "Completely up to you, baby." He smiled, moving his hand to tuck her hair behind her ear.
A daddy.. He smiled brightly, grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the door.

"Hmm.." He paused. "I don't know, what are you hungry for?" He smirked. "Besides me."
She chuckled at that. "Always, babe," she confirmed, nipping at his lips playfully. She bobbed her head thoughtfully a moment before answering. "Breakfast, definitely. And coffeeeee." Her smile faded a minute then and she wrinkled her nose. "Wait." She looked to her abdomen. "Baby. No caffiene." Sighing regretfully, she shrugged. "Well, still breakfast. The diner?" she suggested.
Leaning into his touch, she giggled as he pulled her to the door. She could tell he was excited about the baby. It was written all over his face. She was too; excited. There was still a little gurgle of fear at the pit of her stomach but she was able to ignore it now. She was wrapped up in the experience already. Cribs and toys and clothes and names. Oh! Names!
She couldn't wait to go through names for their baby. Couldn't wait for their baby to be born.

He gave a nod, taking her hand gently. "The diner it is, then." He smiled. It wasn't that far, only a block. From there on they'd take a taxi, no sense trying to push through the crowd traffic. Might as well enjoy the traffic crowd for once right?
He took in a deep breath of the air, summer was right around the corner. "Hmm." He hummed softly to himself as he thought. "What do you want to do this summer?" He asked, looking over at her as he lifted her hand to his lips, kissing it softly.

She smiled as he took her hand and they headed out. She wound their wrists around each other so she could pull close to him. Once outside in the fresh air, she blew out a long exhale. Holy crap it had been an eventful morning. And it was barely eight o'clock. But all was well for the time being so that was something to be thankful for.
"What do you want to do this summer?"
Her entire body relaxed as she felt his lips skim over her hand. Giggling, she felt a rush of fizziness flood her chest. He could still make her feel like a little girl on her first date. She loved that. Everything inside her just went to bubbles and butterflies. "Hmmm," she hummed back. "I dunno; get ready for this little thing," she said, putting a free hand to her stomach and grinning. "Paint. Be with you..." She shrugged, smiling softly. "Keep it low-key, huh?"

It was a beautiful morning, that much was for sure. "Low-key, huh?" He gave a nod, smiling over at her. "I think we can do that." He grinned, as they continued to walk down the street. "Ahh, painting. Always fun." He chuckled.
"And you are with me, seven days a week, twenty-some odd hours of the day." He teased. "I'm surprised you're not bored yet." He grinned, as they stood waiting for the cross walk sign to flash green.

"Ahh, painting. Always fun."
Essence grinned up at him, nodding. "I can't live with all those white walls for much longer," she admitted.
"And you are with me, seven days a week, twenty-some odd hours of the day." He teased. "I'm surprised you're not bored yet."
Essence laughed easily at that. "Bored with you?" she asked. "Never." The cross signal changed and she led him across the calm street. "Life was boring before you," she corrected. Whoa; before Ryder... That had been so long ago... And all right, it hadn't always been fun-exciting with him (like when he was Ace, or when he went missing...). But all that was over and now she just got to live a nice life. With him. Perfect.

"I can't live with all those white walls for much longer,"
He chuckled easily. "You and me both." He grinned, as they crossed the street and took a right around the corner. It was at the end of this block, his stomach growled expectingly. "Bored with you?" she asked. "Never." The cross signal changed and she led him across the calm street. "Life was boring before you," He laughed easily, pulling her close and landing a kiss to her head. "Glad I could livin things up for you." He teased.
He walked a bit faster, opening the door for her with a smile. "Ladies first."

"Glad I could livin things up for you."
She stuck out her tongue at him but dissolved quickly into giggles. Rocking onto her tiptoes, she pressed a kiss to his lips just as they reached the diner. "Well, I wouldn't have it any other way."
"Ladies first."
She blushed a little, ducking into a mock of a curtsey. "Well, thanks." As she passed in front of him, she laid a gentle hand to his shoulder, urging him to follow after her. "I want...oatmeal," she decided, entering the diner, chuckling a little.

"Well, I wouldn't have it any other way."
He smirked, perking a brow as he held the door open. "Well, thanks." He chuckled softly, following right behind her. A arrange of smells hit him, pancakes, coffee, and something else.. Either way, it has his stomach working overtime.
"I want...oatmeal,"
"I want.. a table." He joked softly with a wry grin. He took her hand, leader to one of the table near a window. He pulled out her chain, smiling as he waited for her to sit down before scooting her in. "Boy, you are only lucky girl. Gettin' all this special treatment. I must really love you." He was teasing a lot this morning, his only conclusion was it had to do with such great news..
He was gonna be a daddy..
