She woke leisurely, with a snuff of laughter at the tickle of his lips. "Ben," she murmured softly, smile on her lips. She caught his mouth in her own, occupying him with a lingering good-morning kiss. Then she stretched, popping joints pleasurably. "Good morning," she said, finally opening her eyes to meet his.
She stretched a moment longer, curling her toes that had gone numb in the night. It was a weird habit of hers. She clenched her feet muscles at nights and often woke up with cramps. Nothing dehibilitating, just annoying. "Time's it?" she asked. The natural light was dimmed but she still sensed that it was later, well after 4:30 at least.

"Dru," he retorted in a murmur, closing the gap between them and manuevering around their little distraction. "Morning." He pushed himself up, cocking his head to both sides and hearing it crack twice, giving him a little more freedom. Smiling down at her, he caught her nose gently between two knuckles. "Nine," he answered, snipping the end of her nose before kissing it.
"Wanna get up now?"
((gah, short, sorry.))

She wriggled her nose a little, giggling. She chased his lips, pecking then quickly before falling back against the pillows. She worked her shoulders over loosely while considering it. "In a minute," she finally answered, laying a hand to his stomach. She closed her eyes and let the morning sink in around her.
"Wanna see the Lawrences?" she asked. "I can give Emma a call, see if they're up." She was sure they were. Cian was an early riser, she knew and with a little baby she doubted they wanted to sleep much. Andrua thought Cian and Emma were the kind of parents that wanted to spend almost every moment they had spare with their children. Good parents.

"Okay. Y'feel like something to eat? Coffee; tea, anything?" He found himself famished. He realized he had been hungrier last night than he thought, but sleep had taken over first. A grin on his face as he looked to her when he stood, he pulled on a button-up--without doing the buttons--and a pair of jeans. He was ready to start the day; he wanted to meet those kids. See what she had been talking about.
Benson drew open the curtains a little, making sure it didn't shine any light directly in her face. Nice day. Warm. Maybe they could go on another run later.

Popping one last kink out of her shoulder, she rose from bed. There wa something very sexy about watching a man get dressed. Almost as sexy as watching him get undressed. Which was saying something. Dropping a quick kiss to his cheek, she said, "OJ s'all I need. Meet you in the kitchen." With that she bounced out of his room and into her own. She dressed quickly and tossed on some minimal make-up, ran a brush over her teeth and hair. Hopping to the stairs, she giggled and decided to ride the banister. She leapt off at just the right moment, landing perfectly. Oh yeah: today was a good day. Meandering into the kitchen, she couldn't help the smile on her face.

By the time she danced her way back, Benson was filling his face with a power bar and a cup of joe, having already eaten a quick PB&J sandwich. He slugged down the coffee, finishing off the bar as he chuckled to see her make her grand entrance. A cup of orange juice had been poured for her, waiting on the table. "I swear you're anorexic," he teased. "You never eat. Least, not that I see."
He buttoned up his shirt, tucking it in. "Chug it and make the call, woman. I'm all ready."

"If I were anorexic," Andrua said, taking a sip from the juice, "I would not be able to kick you ass daily." She finished the glass off in one fell gulp. Putting the empty glass to the counter she moved around for .the phone. As she passed him, she flipped her foot up and to the side, catching his ass with it. She chuckled triumphantly and shot him a wink.
Grabbing for the phone, she dialed quickly. It only took a few rings for Emma to pick up. "Emma-roo!" she greeted happily. "Me and Benson were thinking of stopping by to see your new one. Is it a good time or what's up?" She leaned against the wall as she spoke, one hand dipping into her pocket casually.

As she pulled out her phone and finished her "breakfast," Benson could think of no other response but to stick his tonuge out at her. He found himself still thirsty, so he went to the tap to get a glass of water. He'd so kick her ass today if they played footy.
---
Maura was content resting in her right arm, and so she had to dig her phone out of her pocket with her left, struggling to get it open so she could see who it was. She didn't get to see the screen before answering. "Hello?"
Emma chuckled to hear Andrua's voice on the other line. "That's one I haven't heard before," she chuckled. She'd gotten Em, Emmy, and even Em-n-Em from Cian, but Emma-roo was different. She beamed to hear that she and Ben wanted to visit. "Yeah; no, come on over. Please, by all means. Cian's a wreck, so you can see him all stressed over being a daddy," she giggled mischieviously.

Andrua laughed heartily at that. She could just picture Cian as the frazzled Daddy. "That is definitely a sight I don't want to miss. Hey, Benson can even give him a break and talk some footy with him." She grinned over to Benson. "All right, well we're gonna leave now-ish I think, so we'll see you soon!"
--
Cian, who was just innocently bouncing a happy Oliver on his knee, sent a glare Emma's way. "I am not a wreck," he countered. Okay, so maybe sometimes he was a little protective of Maura. But that was only because she was his Mo. She was his only child, after all. And she was the newest one. He was just worried about her.
Which is why sometimes he liked to hand Maura over to Emma, much as he adored the little girl, and hang with Oliver. He didn't have to worry after the little boy so much. Oliver was old enough to handle himself, more or less, so Cian was more a little more comfortable with him. And Ollie sure seemed to enjoy the attention...

Finishing off the last of the water and hearing that they were leaving now, he grabbed his keys and shoved them in his pocket, waiting in the threshold for her to end the call. Benson didn't have a frequent relationship with the Lawrences, but they weren't exactly strangers. He knew they had a son, and now a daughter, and something about Cian being a stepdad to the son, but...ah, whatever. He'd find out the rest later. "Come on. We teleporting, driving, or walking?"
---
"Yes you are," she muttered lowly to Cian, laughing afterwards. Emma loved having Maura--hell, she was thankful to be living--especially because she was such a calm, easy baby. It was nice to be a Mommy all over again, but...when Cian didn't want to bother taking care of Mo, that meant Emma had no time with Ollie. The men seemed to be bonding, but...
Well, she and Ollie...they just...
She shook it off for now. "Sounds good, Drua. We'll see you soon." With that, she hung up the phone, putting it on the table, cradling her little girl. "Hear that, baby doll? Andrua and Benson are gonna visit."

"Teleporting," Andrua said, ending the call with Emma. "S'faster and I find I'm lazy today." She giggled at herself and moved to him. She looped her arms around his waist and pulled close. That wasn't really necessary, to ride along. But she liked it that way.
--
Cian had no response and so he just stuck his tongue out her. But suddenly, reminded of it maybe, he missed his baby girl. Kissing Oliver cheek and giving him a last parting tickle on the stomach, he moved to Emma. Bouncing on the balls of his feet, he studied them a moment. God, he didn't think he could love three people any more, but every day...
"Could I hold her, love?" he asked. He wanted a few moments with Maura before Andrua and Benson got there and wanted their own turns. He dropped a hand to Oliver's head, ruffling his hair affectionately.

Teleporting it was. The hold wasn't really needed, but he didn't have to ask to know that she was just doing it because she could. Wrapping his arms around her, too, he put his face in her hair before teleporting them to the floor of the Lawrence's apartment (who needed stairs?). He gestured for her to knock. "You know 'em better than I do."
---
Emma smiled, carefully placing Maura into her daddy's arms. Cian and Oliver had grown so much closer, but even so, she could see that Cian was obsessed over Mo. He loved Ollie, that much was clear, but Maura was his own. He'd made her. She was his.
Taking this opportunity, Emma went to Ollie, attacking him with blowing on his stomach. He laughed, glad to have his playful, mobile Mommy back.

Andrua rolled her eyes and knocked on the door, awaiting a response. A short moment passed before the door opened. Cian was there. He looked to them a minute but, after a brief grin, they flashed back down to the little girl in his arms. "Heyyy, there," he drawled, gesturing for them to come in.
Andrua followed tugging Benson along. "Is this the little one?" she asked, already cooing over her. Maura studied her curiously, big eyes on the new face and head tilted to the side a bit. "Hiya Maura!" she said, waving to the baby. "I'm Andrua. You are so, so pretty!"
Maura seemed to enjoy the pitch of Andrua's voice because she gurgled happily and waved her hands, reaching for the new person.
Andrua loved that and turned to share her beaming smile with Benson. "I wanna hold her," she told Cian. "But first I gotta say hi to my bud." Stepping a little further into the room, she shot a wink to Emma before calling, not too loud for Maura, though, "Oliver! Is there an Oliver in the house?"

She completely changed when she was in the presence of children, but at the same time, she was still the playful, happy Andrua she'd always been. Benson had his hands in his pockets, waiting, a little unsure about what to do. He passed a wave to Cian, eyes flickering to the girl in his arms. Dru seemed so open and friendly with them...
Oliver sprung from behind his Mommy with open arms in a wide pose. "Wight here!" he announced himself, running up to Andrua.

"Oliver!" She said, still beaming happily. She caught him in a hug and slung him around in a circle. Finally pulling him from her, she giggled. Tapping his nose, she asked, "Did you miss me, Ollie? I haven't seen you in so long! You've gotten huge!"
She loved this kid. He was so cool and smart. She loved all kids, really, but Oliver was especially cool.
--
Cian passed a crooked grin to Benson, rocking Maura a little. She had gotten upset at Andrua's departure. She liked her Daddy but there were new, interesting people. She wanted to see them! She fussed, frustrated. Cian sighed and shifted with her. "You are lucky you're so cute, Maura Erin. Because you sure can be a pain in the butt."
He shook his head and passed a look to Benson. "Since Andrua is busy flirting with Ollie, would you like to hold Mo? I think she's dying to see a new face."

Delighted, Oliver threw his arms up in the air, rocking back and forth while he listened to Andrua go on about how big he'd gotten. "Yah! I mees joo," he agreed with a nod, pointing to himself. "I a beeg boy now. An' a beeg bruffer. I da bestest beeg bruffer, 'cause Daddy says so, an' I knows dis."
He beamed, proud of himself for knowing such important things.
---
This was only kind of awkward. He shuffled on his feet, watching the interaction and wondering when he'd be forced into it before he was ready, because he knew with his luck something like that was going to happen.
And, of course, it was Cian who had to start it.
"Uh..." he drawled, unsure, sounding dumb as he looked around, as if other people held the answer for him. How could he refuse to hold a baby? And if seeing a new face would keep her from screaming and crying, well. Oh, he wasn't going to be good at this. Wincing, he shrugged. "Uh...uh, s-sure, I guess. Why not." He held his arms out.

"My gosh, you're right! You're such a big boy!" She finally set him on the ground. Falling to sit near him, she crossed her legs. "You're the bestest big brother ever?" she repeated. "Well, if that's what Daddy said, it must be true, huh?" She ruffled his hair gently.
--
Cian chuckled at his apparent discomfort. "No worries. Maura's easy. She's pretty much happy long as you keep interesting and don't drop her." He carefully passed his little girl over to the man. He was very proud of himself for how much he didn't hover and fret and linger. Nervous wreck his arse.
--
New body. Warm. She liked this body. It was like Daddy's. But still different enough to be exciting. Maura keened happily. Her hands reached up to touch this new face.one caught the nose while the other landed just a little above the chin. She patted there gently, as if exploring.

He nodded decisively, sitting down in front of Andrua, patting her knees. "Yes. An' I gots Mo a teddy bear, too. But she can no haff 'olliepops yike me. She no beeg. I beeg." He flexed his arms as if they were the like Superman's, pushing his chest out. When his hair got ruffled, he giggled, reaching up and doing the same to her hair, since it was about the same length as his. "Ha!"
---
Jesus he was going to piss his pants. Holy shit, holy shit, holy shiii... He was going to drop her. Jesus Christ, Cian, don't let me hold her, I'm gonna drop her, I'm gonna... Hey, this wasn't so bad. Swallowing, he extended his arms so he ensured he didn't let her go. But as he realized that her tiny body conformed perfectly in arms, he brought her a little closer, examining her.
Benson chuckled, stroking her hand. "Hi."

"Well, yeah. She's too little to have lollipops yet." She bopped his nose playfully. "You are a good big brother, getting Mo a teddy bear." She grinned suddenly then, looked up to Emma and then Cian. "Mo," she repeated. "That's so cute. I love that." Mo. Maura Erin. She was going to grow up to be an awesome kid.
"You're right," Andrua said, feigning amazement. "You're soooo big." She snatched him up suddenly, rising to her feet. Lifting his shirt, she blew a respberry on his stomach. "But not as big as me, huh?" she laughed.
--
He made a noise and Maura could feel it. Her eyes went wide and she froze, little mouth parted. Whoa. That was fun. She liked that. She bounced happily, making approving noises. Do again do again do again! Her fingers curled around one of his much larger ones.

Oliver squealed when he was snatched, laughing, knowing what was coming. People seemed to love tickling his stomach in whatever way they could. He laughed so hard that he couldn't breathe for a while, hands clinging to Andrua's shirt as if that would make her stop. "I-I gonna be beeg as joo," he promised, still choppily getting over his hysterics. "I gonna grow beeg an' strung, yike Daddy an' Uckle Dee, an' joo, and Bennie, and..." He took a breath, running out of names.
---
Maura's reaction startled him, and he frowned. Shit, did I do something wrong? Biting his lip, he waited for movement, any sort of sign that might indicate what she was feeling. He looked up to Cian, about to hand her back to him with a "Sorry, I fucked up your kid, man," but Maura cooed happily, interrupting his thoughts. Benson laughed, moving her with her own bounces. "Yeah, hi. I bet you're sayin' 'Who the heck is this crazy guy holdin' me?', right?" He mimicked some strange voice that even he didn't know what it could relate to.
