UnsureShe'd been here quite some time. Starring at Cian's place. All the while wondering what it'd be like to see him. What he'd say and do... But at the moment, she was stuck--unsure of how to go about this sort of thing.
It wasn't everyday when your older-dead-sister came back to visit...
Should I just orb in? Or should I knock? She pondered, standing outside of the Lawrence household. She was uneasy, unsure about all of this. She wanted so bad to see him--to meet him again.
She sighed, crossing her arms as she contemplated how to go about this. I'll just orb in--but that could go horribly wrong and then--So I'll just knock.. She gave a nod and walked closer to the house.
She froze halfway.
What if he doesn't like me? I mean I'm certainly not the same little seven year old he once knew.. Her stomach did flips as she thought about all the situations this could lead to--good and bad.
I gotta do this. I just have to. You can do this. Just walk up to that door.. and knock. That simple and that hard.. Come on. Colleen swallowed roughly and forced herself to move closer to the door.
Her hand reached out--Do it. and knocked gently on the door. "Oh god.." She whispered, closing her eyes tightly as she waited for an answer.

Cian didn't like being home alone. He liked action and chaos and loudness and energy thrumming throughout the house. But he was sick. So he had sent Emma and the kids out so he couldn't infect them. After Maura had tried valiantly to heal him better. But she couldn't manage to figure it out and they still didn't really know how that power worked anyway. So Cian was all alone at home while his family was out at the park. He was trying to get some work done while he had the time. Might as well... He shuffled through the blank sheets of music that had been sitting on his lap for the past hour. It wasn't that he didn't have any ideas... He had too many. Too much clogging up his head, churning through so that he couldn't keep a hold on a single idea. The knock on the door was a welcome distraction. He thought it might be Emma back already or Dean or someone but it wasn't the familiar rhythmic knock they all shared. He rose and moved across the apartment, ignoring the roll of nausea that washed over him. Running a hand through his hair, he reached the door. Just as he was opening it he realized that he didn't have pants on... Oh well. Seeing the woman there, his brow furrowed a little. "Can I help y'?" he asked pleasantly enough, leaning against the jamb. She looked...felt familiar... Like someone he had met a long time ago and hadn't seen since that one occassion...

"Can I help y'?"
Colleen swallowed roughly, her nerves shaken to the core. It wasn't as if she hadn't seen him, she had; in heaven. But this was so much different, seeing him in person. Her heart raced doubletime as she watched him lean against the jamb.
"Not really, I mean, yes.. sort of.. kinda." She ran a shaky hand through her hair. How was she going to tell him? She couldn't just come right out and say 'hey, I'm your sister, remember me?', now could she?
"You're sick." She said softly. She could just tell, his face was a bit paler than usual, and she could tell he was having a bout of nausea as well. Say somethin' anythin'.. come on. "Cian..." She paused, starring at him.
"It's me.." Her heart raced, leaping into her throat. "Colleen."

"Not really, I mean, yes.. sort of.. kinda."
Cian chuckled softly, eyes smiling. Poor thing looked rather confused; or maybe just conflicted. He wondered if this was another reporter from the Times or something. He wold have to send this one away. As much as he would love to get the story out there, there was no way he could answer an interview feeling as he did.
"You're sick."
He pulled a funny face at that, wondering how she knew that. He was going to ask her that exact question, but the next thing out of her mouth stopped him. "Cian..." His brow screwed up a little. If she was a reporter, she might know his name, sure. But a reporter wouldn't say it that way. Almost sad... Nostalgic, even...
"It's me..." Eyes widening, Cian suddenly knew. Or partially knew; thought he knew, anyway. He knew he knew her now. Knew that she was someone. He thought he knew who but...that was impossible. She had died. Of course, other people had come back from the dead. But not his sister. She was human and she was only seven when she had died as well. No way she had come back...
"Colleen."
Oh shit. It was her. It was... Cian felt his insides turn over but not from nausea. Swallowing harshly, he studied the woman before him. And suddenly his mind collapsed and he shook his head. No. This couldn't be his sister. No matter what he saw, thought, felt, knew. This was some cruel trick.
"Colleen is dead," he said curtly. "I don' know who y' think y' are but t'is isn' very funny." His eyes wavered a little because...well... Look, at her. But could it really be his sister?
Fuck.

"Colleen is dead," he said curtly. "I don' know who y' think y' are but t'is isn' very funny."
She bit down on her bottom lip, she could feel that nervousness mixing with a tad bit of hurt at his words. Swallowing it down for now, she shook her head. "No, t'is isn' a joke, Cian." It'd been so long since she'd used her Irish accent, it was.. foreign to her now.
"I did die." She paused, looking into his brown eyes. "I wen' to heaven, I lived as a little girl for a very long time." She explained with a soft smile. "I suppose I could say t'at god works in mysterious ways.." She sighed, her shoulders slumping.
She allowed her eyes to close, but only for a brief second. "I know.. I know t'is is strange.." She raised her brows, her eyes growing wide for a split second. "Believe me, I know." She shook her head.

"No, t'is isn' a joke, Cian."
When she said his name again, he knew. He knew it was the same voice that had sung him to sleep, called for him across the park, whined at him when he was annoying her... This was his Colleen, his sister, his Coll-Coll...
"I did die." She paused, looking into his brown eyes. "I wen' to heaven, I lived as a little girl for a very long time." She explained with a soft smile. "I suppose I could say t'at god works in mysterious ways.."
"Y' can say t'at again," he agreed softly, leaning more heavily against the side wall. What with everyone else coming back from the dead... It was worrisome, sure. But... But this was his sister! Suddenly, it all finally registered. His sister was back! The sister that he had cried over, missed for so long, whose death had caused so much pain and grief within his family... And she was back now!
She spoke more a little, but he wasn't really paying attention. "Jay-sus Christ," he exclaimed in a low voice. He took her hand suddenly, moving close. His eyes bore into hers a moment. Those eyes.... He had told Emma when they first started dated that the only thing he remembered of his sister was her face; particularly her eyes. And these eyes before him... They definitely belonged to Coll-Coll.
"Fuck, Coll-Coll," he murmured, lopsided smile starting on his face. "It really is you." He laughed a little, not sure id he wanted to hug her or tug her inside and ask the loads of questions spinning through his mind first.

"Y' can say t'at again,"
"God works in mysterious ways." She laughed softly. She watched him carefully, wondering what was going on inside that mind of his. She tilted her head to the side slightly, her hat skewed a tad. "Jay-sus Christ," She could only smile..
Suddenly, her hand was in his. She could heal him, if she wanted to. But thought best to atleast ask before doing it. That dazed look on his face, only reminded her of the times he'd do it when they were little. Irremediably, a smile came to her face again.
"Fuck, Coll-Coll," he murmured, lopsided smile starting on his face. "It really is you."
She blinked back tears and nodded. "Y' it is, Cian.." She let out a sigh she didn't realize she was holding it. She wanted so much to engulf him in a hug. It'd been so long since she'd hugged him.. She shook her head, a smile on her face and tears in her eyes.
"Come 'ere." She laughed lightly, pulling him in for a hug. She wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his shoulder.

Cian welcomed the embrace readily. His hands moved over her back, holding her to him tight, tight; like they used to hug when they were little. Like, if he just held onto her tight, she wouldn't leave him again. He didn't think she would be going anywhere anytime soon, though.
He pulled away eventually, holding her at arms-length. Smiling, he just studied her a moment, eyes moving over the woman his sister had become. She was older than him, of course, but he had only known her as a seven-year-old. He used to imagine her growing up with him, though. It stopped when he hit his teens, really, but she was his imaginary friend...
But had she been imaginary? She said she lived as a little girl in heaven for a long time... Cian wondered if the imaginary version of his sister he had dreamed up was totally a product of his mind and not...really her... But, fuck, either way she was here. She was there and alive and he could barely believe it.
Laughing suddenly, he pulled her in for a brief, close hug. He kissed both her cheeks, before tugging her in to the apartment. "I want t' hear all abou' it," he requested, leading her to the living room. "I want t' know ev'ry-" He was cut off by a rogue cramp low in his stomach. He doubled over, putting a hand to his abdomen as he forced back nausea. It passed in a second, though and he was propped back up, offering Colleen a weak smile. "Well, like y' said: I am sick..." he joked.
He dropped onto the couch, gesturing for her to take a seat. Realizing the variety of children's things around the house, he wondered if she had been watching him some how. If she knew about Emma and Oliver and Maura. Or if she was about to get a shock that her li'l brother was married with two children.

She relished the hug, a huge smile on her lips as she gave him a tight squeeze. She remembered how they would squash their bodies together when they were little. A soft chuckled escaped her as he held her at arms-length. She tilted her head slightly, still smiling as she watched him examine her. "Wha'?" She asked, laughing softly.
She wished she knew what he was thinking, she could tell he was thinking hard about something. His eyes glazed over slightly, the more she watched--examined, the more her smile grew. She was beyond relieved that he seemed okay with this.
She understood that Angels had literally come out, to fight in the war. But this was different, she was family.. they were siblings. She took in a deep breath, holding it for a moment before chuckling. "Say somet'in'.. anyt'ing?"
"I want t' hear all abou' it," he requested, leading her to the living room. "I want t' know ev'ry-
She watched as he doubled over, her hand resting on his back as she followed suit. "Easy.." Just as she was going to ask if he wanted to be healed, he was straightened back up. "Well, like y' said: I am sick..." She gave a soft nod. "Well, y' know I can.. heal y'.." She offered.
They had the rest of his life to catch up.. and she would make sure that he would.

"Well, y' know I can.. heal y'.."
"Y" can?" he asked, face showing relief. "Well, then jeez, what've I been standin' here, sufferin' for?" he teased, grin playing over his face. "Yes, please." Not to already take advantage of his sister, but he really didn't feel well. And this whole unexpected reunion would go a lot better if he didn't puke all over her. That's what he thought at least and he was sure Colleen would agree.
Blowing out a short sigh, he didn't even know where to begin. He had about a million questions for her and he couldn't choose any one. Not only had his foundation been rocked to the core by learning that his sister was alive, but he had also had his entire belief system turned flipside-up. There was a heaven in fact. And his sister had lived in it.
"What was Heaven like?" he asked. And then, once he got the first one out, the rest just spilled, following. "How long were you there? Were you a little girl for the whole time? When did you grow up? How'd that happen? How'd you come here? Have you been watching Earth?"
Finally, though, he was able to stop himself. Taking in a breath, he chuckled and shook his head. "Sorry; one at a time'd be better, huh? Answer whichever is easiest?"

"Y" can?" he asked, face showing relief. "Well, then jeez, what've I been standin' here, sufferin' for?" he teased, grin playing over his face. "Yes, please."
She laughed softly, and began the process, her hand glowing softly as she healed him. "What was Heaven like?" She smiled brightly. Her mouth opened to answer him just as he went about asking more questions. All she could possibly do was laugh, her hand still glowing as her eyes locked on his.
"How long were you there? Were you a little girl for the whole time? When did you grow up? How'd that happen? How'd you come here? Have you been watching Earth? Sorry; one at a time'd be better, huh? Answer whichever is easiest?"
She gave a nod, her hand dropping off his shoulder to her side. "Well, heaven is beyond beau'iful. I saw great gran'-da Joseph, he told me to tell y' hi." She nodding, smile bright. "Was there for quite some time.." She noticed her irish and english accents were mixing together.. She sighed softly and laughed, shaking her head. Getting flustered, she put a hand to her face and blushed.
"I feel horrible, Cian." She dropped her hand, her cheeks still red. "I keep.." It was so hard to explain.. how was she suppose to find the words? "When I was in heaven, I grew out of.. " She sighed, lifting her shoulders slightly, her hands fumbling. "My irish roots? I don' know.. they all speak american up there.. hardly any with accents.. Well, angels at least.."
Shut up, Colleen. Y' gonna overload him and kill him. Closing her eyes, she placed a hand to her forehead. "Jaysus."

A tingling feeling fell through him as she began the healing process. IT was a little odd but mostly relaxing; felt good. Leaning into it, Cian listened as she spoke of Heaven. He chuckled at the bit out gran'da Joe, smirking. She wondered who else she had met up there. Anyone else they knew? Any other childhood friends whose fate had turned for the worst? Any other... Uncle Jack?
"I feel horrible, Cian." His face screwed up, curious as to what she was referring to. He felt fine, completely better in fact, so it couldn't be over a botched healing or something.
"When I was in heaven, I grew out of.. " She sighed, lifting her shoulders slightly, her hands fumbling. "My irish roots? I don' know.. they all speak american up there.. hardly any with accents.. Well, angels at least.."
Cian laughed outright at that. Shaking his head, he waved her off. "Yes, well, seein' as y' are my favorite sister who's been dead for the past twenty years an' who've I missed beyond all reason, I am goin' t' have t' kick y' out for not speakin' like a Mick." He scoffed lightly to show that he was of course only joking. "Please, Coll-Coll. I couldn't care less if y' were speaking Swahili backward. Jus' glad to have y' here sittin' next to me." He smiled warmly up to her, squeezing her hand a little.
"Jaysus."
He grinned lop-sidedly at that. "Seems like y' still got some Irish in y' there," he teased. He hoped Emma came home soon. He wanted Colleen to meet her and Oliver and Maura. But on the other hand, he wanted a little more time alone with his sister.

She could tell he was joking, as she shook her head and laughed softly. Her brother.. he was somethin' else entirely. Perfectly perfect in her eyes. "Please, Coll-Coll. I couldn't care less if y' were speaking Swahili backward. Jus' glad to have y' here sittin' next to me." She laughed again, shaking her head. "Well, I'm glad." She paused, tilted her head. "I missed y' too, Cian." She smiled.
"Seems like y' still got some Irish in y' there,"
She chuckled softly at him, her smile just beaming. "Let me answer more of y' questions." She said, taking in a breath to stop her laughter. "I lived there, Cian. Twenty years. But I only spent half of that as a child." She shrugged, looking down a moment. "And God--Omni as she prefers--She.. I don' know how to explain it, really.. She did somet'in'.. and I, grew up." She smiled softly.
"I can.. what heaven calls it is orbing.. I can orb here.. It's like.." She paused, swallowing as she tried to form the words. "Tel'portin'.." She gave a nod. "But y' like.. come apart as y' leave.." She laughed softly. "An' then.. y' jus' come back toget'er." She shook her head, amazed at it herself.
"Y', of course I have." She smiled, tilting her head and placing a hand to his cheek. "Gotta look out for y' right?" She laughed softly. Her eyes trailing to look around for the first time. "Y' make some beau'iful babies.." She grinned.

Cian nodded as he listened. He was just taking it all in. The fact that he had his sister back... It was still a little hard to get his head around. And, Christ! What about the rest of his family? Ma and Da would literally die. Their hearts wouldn't be able to handle the shock. As for the other kids, well, only Timmy really knew about Colleen, but it would still be quite a surprise.
And Emma! Emma would flip as well. She would love the opportunity to actually meet Colleen and talk to her. Learn why he loved her so much...
He laughed as she tried to explain orbing to him. Sounded like teleporting, yeah. Long as it brought her to him, he didn't really care much how it worked.
"Gotta look out for y' right?"
Cian laughed with her, placing his hand over hers. "Well, t'ank you for that. Like I got m' own guardian angel, huh?" Of course, he had had Luna as well... But this was different; this was his sister.
"Y' make some beau'iful babies.."
Cian laughed heartily at that, nodding. "Hell yes, I do. Me an' Em make awesome babies. I can't wait for y' to meet them. Ollie and Mo're gonna love y', I just know it! And Emma, too. I mean, I've always wished there were a way you could meet her and... Now you can!"
He was beaming like a little kid he was so excited, happy. He had his sister back. Somehow everythign that was wrong in the world didn't seem so bad.

She beamed, nodding softly. "Somet'in' like t'at." She laughed softly. "I mean, it's a li'l different, if y' ever need me, all y' have to do is say m' name." As he ranted on about Oliver, Maura and Emma--and how excited he was for her to meet them.. she couldn't contain her laughter.
She seemed to be positively glowing at this point from the happiness that was radiating off of her. "Well, I'm real excited to meet them too." She grinned, nodding again. It was the simplest of emotions; happiness. But it could fill a person up so much... it just overflowed, and it seemed to even be contagious.
"How's ma and da? Timmy? How's he?"

"I mean, it's a li'l different, if y' ever need me, all y' have to do is say m' name."
"Say your name," he repeated softly. All he had to do was say her name. It was so easy... He went from not having his sister to having her readily accessible at any time in the span of a few minutes. At least it changed for the better. He was happy with this; about this. Very happy.
"How's ma and da? Timmy? How's he?"
"Ma an' Da are grand, y' know. Had a thousand little ones after us." He scratched at the back of his neck lightly. "We moved out to Vegas, you know, after. Been there ever since. Yeah, they're good."
And Timmy... Oh, Timmy. "He's good 'nough now. Had a bit of a fallin' out with Ma and Da; more so Da, a little while back. He came and stayed with me for a few weeks an' then we brought him back." He was dancing around the issue, he knew. It wasn't that he didn't want to tell Colleen; he knew she wouldn't care at all about Timmy likin' guys. He just wasn't sure if it was his place to tell her or not.

She smiled. "Yea? that's good." She nodded. "I wanta' see them, I do. It's jus'.. I don' even know where to begin with them." They were--are, her parents. That was.. completely different. They would have even more questions that Cian.
"He's good 'nough now. Had a bit of a fallin' out with Ma and Da; more so Da, a little while back. He came and stayed with me for a few weeks an' then we brought him back."
"Yea?" She thought about it. She looked in on him every once in awhile, but not enough. Not like she had been with Cian. She suddenly found herself at a loss for words. Not knowing what to say, what to ask.. There was so much to catch up on, and she couldn't think of what to say.. how.. lame was that?
"How are things here, with Luna--she's still around, yea?" She knew Luna--infact, she was the one who sent Luna out to Cian, Emma and their family. At the time, she was still in training, and with what was going to happen--she wanted to know he was safe. That he was alive.

"I wanta' see them, I do. It's jus'.. I don' even know where to begin with them."
Cian winced and nodded. "Yeah, I can imagine. Gonna be quite a shock for them..." To be honest, he wasn't sure his parents would even believe that this was Colleen. He did because he was now used to people coming back to the dead (which was just wrong; that that had become normal for him). He didn't know that his parents would be able to process that at all...
"Yea?"
Cian nodded, rubbing at the back of his neck again. Sighing, he chuckled. Still couldn't manage to keep anything from Colleen. "Truth be told... He's bent; y'know...gay."
"How are things here, with Luna--she's still around, yea?"
"Well, y' know, actually, she had t' reveal her human form. When the whole Hell on Earth deal started... She's been serving since then, I guess. Helpin' out? She was great while she was with us though. Oliver's takin' the change a little hard..."

A shock, right. Her head fell a little, her eyes evasive as she processed that in her mind. Right, ma an' da wouldn't be easily convinced like Cian. Her head lifted and she smiled softly. "Truth be told.." Her brow raised slightly. Curious. "He's bent," She made a face, not letting it sink in fully. " y'know...gay."
Colleen's eyes grew a bit wide as it dawned on her. "Right.. well, to each his own, yea?" She smiled. He was her brother, it didn't matter. She would love him nonetheless.
"Well, y' know, actually, she had t' reveal her human form. When the whole Hell on Earth deal started... She's been serving since then, I guess. Helpin' out? She was great while she was with us though. Oliver's takin' the change a little hard..."
She frowned slightly. "T'at's terrible." She shook her head. "I might have to go talk to her about it, get her to talk to Oliver, yea?"

"Right.. well, to each his own, yea?"
Cian nodded eagerly. "Right. S'what I said. Ma and Da had some trouble with it at the start but I think they're better with it now." He knew Coll would be all right with it.
"T'at's terrible." She shook her head. "I might have to go talk to her about it, get her to talk to Oliver, yea?"
"Aw, I dunno," Cian said, waving it off. "He's just got a lot goin' on at the moment. "The new sister was a little hard for him to deal with and then this whole Hell thing and then Luna on top of it... Just a lot to process, yeah? He'll be all right soon enough." He was already doing better, Cian thought. He and Emma had been at work to assure them that he was still their son and they loved him; that there were some stabilities in life; things he could count on.
