Parks on both sides of the border offer views of the Falls, but the Canadian side lets kids literally walk into them. A series of tunnels that were originally built in 1889 have been upgraded and reinforced with concrete to create a one-of-a-kind Falls viewing experience that allows visitors to hear and "feel" the thunderous waters through viewing portals and open-air (but safety-bar barricaded) lookout spots inside the tunnels.
Your kids will tell you "It's so awesome!" but the roar is so loud underground you probably won't hear them -- judge by the awe-filled stare they'll sport instead.

Younger kids will fall in love with Chip, the preteen beaver star of the pre-ride movie ("He's so cute!") and will surely want to bring him home (stuffed versions are available in the gift shop). Kids won't realize they're learning the history of the Falls as they watch Chip slip and spin from the ice age to modern times -- they'll be having too much fun.
Despite its name, the "Fury" is actually pretty tame, very family-friendly, and barrels of fun.
