A series of tunnels that were originally built in 1889 have been upgraded and reinforced with concrete to create a one-of-a-kind Falls viewing experience that allows visitors to hear and "feel" the thunderous waters through viewing portals and open-air (but safety-bar barricaded) lookout spots inside the tunnels.
